Business Development Manager (2 positions) (Miami, FL) DZO HOSPITALITY - Determine and formulate policies and provide direction of the company within the guidelines set by board of directors. Plan, direct, coordinate operational activities at the highest level of management with help of subordinate managers. Direct and coordinate financial budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, increase efficiency. Confer with board members and staff to discuss issues, coordinate activities and resolve problems. Analyze operations to evaluate performance of the business and its staff in meeting objectives and to determine areas of potential cost reduction and improvement. Negotiate and approve contracts and agreements with suppliers. Review reports submitted by staff members to recommend approval or to suggest changes. Appoint department heads or managers and assign or delegate responsibilities to them. Direct human resources activities including the approval of human resource plans and activities, the selection of directors and other high level staff and establishment and organization of major departments.
