Job Description No Recruiters PLEASE Thank you The IAG Aero Group companies engage in aircraft and engine part sales, aircraft and engine sales and leasing, engine storage and preservation, and engine repairs and overhauls. We are expanding fast and need a Staff Accountant in the Miami, Florida office. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer. Duties and Responsibilities: Monthly close, consolidations and financial reporting Prepare and enter journal entries Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts Automate and streamline accounting and payment processes Prepare and gather information for external auditors and tax firm for year-end Special projects as required Qualifications: Bachelors degree required, major/concentration in accounting or finance is preferred CPA or CMA designation is preferred 5 years of accounting experience required Experience in dealing with multiple subsidiaries and intercompany transactions is preferred Industry experience in aviation, transportation, parts and material services is a plus Must have advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, specifically in Excel Advanced QuickBooks experience is required Quantum Control Aviation software experience is preferred Personal Competencies: Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Well-organized and effective multi-tasker Keen attention to detail Effective written and verbal communications Strong analytical skills High standards of honesty and integrity No Recruiters PLEASE Thank you Job Type: Full-time COVID-19 considerations: Temperature checks Company Description The IAG Engine Centers are a world-class engine service provider.
