Integrity and a focus on performance are among our most important values.In order to further execute our growth strategy, we are looking for a committed and entrepreneurial personality for our Miami location as Senior Accountant.Position Overview -The Senior Accountant will provide oversight and direction regarding the primary accounting, bill payment/processing, financial support, and, as needed, administrative/ support for Empira Group. -The Senior Accountant is expected to work closely with the Accounting Department at the Empira -s Swiss Headquarters.Your tasks- - - - - - - - - -Manage the day-to-day cash transactions of Empira Group and its entities and subsidiaries. This includes but is not limited to daily oversight of bank accounts, maintaining relationships with our banks as well as understanding the online banking platforms, entering transactions into the system on a timely basis, managing the intercompany bill-backs and accounts payable process, setting up and inputting wire/ACH transactions, and completing monthly bank reconciliations.- - - - - - - - - -Manage the allocation and documentation process for capital transactions.- - - - - - - - - -Compile the monthly, quarterly, and annual financials. Prepare the monthly reporting work-papers and reconcile accounts, referencing and tying out the consolidated financials.- - - - - - - - - -Coordinate the activities of the external accounting providers. -- - - - - - - - - -Prepare all invoices for entry into the accounting system, monitor the entry of information and data, and verify invoice accuracy, coding, and data entry.- - - - - - - - - -Develop and maintain records of financial transactions for the company.- - - - - - - - - -Review and process payment of all payroll and expense reports in accordance with established procedures and policies.- - - - - - - - - -Analyze and prepare reports on statistics regarding expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business. Ensure the maintenance, updating and effective summarization of applicable ledgers and computer files/reports.- - - - - - - - - -Assist senior management with any ad hoc reporting.Your qualification -- - - - - - - - - -A four-year college degree in Accounting or relevant degree is required.- - - - - - - - - -CPA strongly preferred- - - - - - - - - -A minimum of 5 years of commercial accounting or finance experience is necessary as well as real - - - - -estate accounting background.- - - - - - - - - -Reporting Standard (IFRS) including an intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles to include accounting methods (cash, accrual, and full GAAP).- - - - - - - - - -Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite or other international accounting system preferred.- - - - - - - - - -Must have the ability to work independently, exercise judgment and discretion, supervise and direct others, and function as an inside advisor or consultant on finance and accounting matters.- - - - - - - - - -Full working knowledge and applicability of general accounting and financing principles is necessary.
