Position Description: This position will be involved in investment
operations, financial reporting and accounting for Blackstone Real
Estate Partners ("BREP") fund investments in the Americas.
Specific Responsibilities:
Responsible for property and SPV-level operational activities
including credit facility maintenance, deal funding, investor
funding, and deal expense management.
Maintain and reconcile cash activity for more than 300+ SPV level
bank accounts for investments in the Americas.
Liaise with asset management, portfolio company teams, and fund
accountants to manage the quarterly BREP distribution process which
includes Management SBS/Promote calculations and maintaining the
Global BREP fund distribution tracker.
Responsible for the BREP SPV tax TB reporting process.
Explore opportunities to improve and streamline strategic processes
across various BREP SPV functions.
Work with Legal & Compliance team to ensure new
initiatives/processes are in compliance with BREP fund terms and
requirements.
Manage, train, and develop the support team in India ("COE") to
assist with day-to-day operations.
Assist in the management of public equity and debt securities
holdings including securities transaction settlements, interest and
dividend tracking, custody account openings/closings, transaction
reconciliations, cost-basis tracking, maintaining distribution
support, and cash flow forecasting.
Produce quarterly liquidation slides detailing outstanding action
items to liquidate/dissolve remaining investments in legacy
funds.
Support the Asset Management team in an operational capacity for
all BREP investments in the Americas.
Assist with deal-specific audit documentation requests, political
donation tracking, quarterly debt reporting, and regulatory
reporting.
Support the Expense Management process including onboarding of new
payee wire instructions and coordinating vendor payments with the
BX Procurement team, along with maintaining deal project codes and
settling intercompany payable/receivables with internal paying
agents.
Support quarterly debt reporting process in coordination with
valuations team.
Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated,

6+ years of Big 4 experience in the private equity industry
(Preferably private equity experience)
Undergraduate degree in Accounting
CPA or graduate degree preferred
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word,
PowerPoint)
Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and highly organized
Possesses a strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity,
and a positive attitude
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to
persuade
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple
projects

Expected annual base salary range:
$100,000 - $165,000 Actual base salary within that range will be
determined by several components including but not limited to the
individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.
For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted
salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation
process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms
of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the
advertised role.
