Job Description:
Blackstone's Global Fund Finance is seeking a Financial Associate to assist in the production of monthly Net Asset Values and reporting for the Hedge Fund Solutions platform.
Responsibilities:
Review daily and monthly estimate and final fund NAVs.
Understanding of accounting ledger data in order to review the third-party fund administrator data, shadow books and reconciliations to manage daily NAV generation.
Calculate management and complex incentive fees,
Work with the pricing team to determine valuation as needed for fund holdings: listed domestic and foreign equities, listed and OTC derivatives, structured credit, private investments.
Knowledge of SEC filings and Central Bank of Ireland and Luxembourg for regulated alternative asset funds.
Coordinate with auditors for interim testing and audited financial statements
Review financial statements and disclosures to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC financial reporting requirement.
Assist with various ad-hoc reporting including RoRs, PnL, position exposure and other analyses for senior management.
Assist with technology initiatives including reconciling data being used in automation efforts.
Oversee expense budgeting, hedging and cash reconciliations, certain client reporting functions, and fund structuring and restructuring.
Qualifications:
BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of fund, audit, or administrator experience / 4+ years of public or private accounting experience
CPA preferred
Experience in Alternative investments is preferred
Strong Excel skills preferred
Knowledge of fund accounting and operations
Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills, and a proven track record of developing and implementing innovative solutions for complex product structures.
Able to multi-task and effectively manage their own time.

Possesses a strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, and a positive attitude.
Organized, precise, self-motivated, individual who will thrive on challenge.

Expected annual base salary range:
$90,000 - $115,000 Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
