The COO will support in managing all facets of daily operations of
the Miami office in collaboration with other members of the local
leadership team. He/she will provide leadership, management, and
vision necessary to effectively grow the business and expand the
Miami office while ensuring that the right controls, administrative
and reporting procedures, and systems are in place. He/she will be
a member of the Miami Leadership team. This role is a dual report
to the COO of Finance and the CIO of Blackstone.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the operations, finance, and tax strategy of the Blackstone
Miami office.
Manage budgets & analysis; leverage data to drive decisions.
Manage and report financial results, KPI's, metrics and other
strategic initiatives.
Serve as a culture carrier and transformational leader for the
Miami office.
Coordinate and ensure strong execution across the leadership team
in accordance with the strategic plan and drive strong cross team
collaboration.
Define key financial metrics aligned with performance and work with
the right teams to develop and execute on the people strategy for
the Miami office.
Oversee and assist with any office moves, expansions, or logistics
in coordination with the Global Corporate Services team.
Drive local philanthropic partnerships and opportunities in
partnership with the BX Charitable Foundation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or another relevant
field; MBA strongly preferred 15+ years of professional experience
with at least 10 years of senior management experience in a high
performing organization; financial services strongly preferred
Solid track record of exceeding organizational targets, goals and
driving impact and meet strategic objectives
Proven ability to lead organizational change, with an emphasis on
driving results
Success driving a portfolio of complex projects
Solid leadership capabilities: ability to coach, mentor and develop
teams
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Superior management and interpersonal skills
Proactive idea driver and manager capable of staying steps ahead of
others in a fast-paced environment.

Expected annual base salary range:
$200,000 - $250,000 Actual base salary within that range will be
determined by several components including but not limited to the
individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.
For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted
salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation
process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms
of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the
advertised role.
