Tax Accountant for a CPA Firm (REMOTE)



ARC Group is seeking a REMOTE Tax Accountant with experience in preparing individual and corporate tax returns for a permanent opportunity in Aventura, FL. - Our client is a longstanding CPA and tax consulting firm with an excellent reputation and is looking to find someone with preparing income tax returns ASAP.

TAX ACCOUNTANT / TAX PREPARER DUTIES:

• 
  
• General Accounting responsibilities including preparing GL is critical.
  
• Prepare estimated federal and state income tax payments.
  
• Complex tax preparation experience, including corporate returns
  
• Perform year-end accrual review and prepare the tax provision.
  
• Prepare various personal property tax returns.
  
• Prepare/Review other various tax filings: Annual reports, Intangible Tax, Sales and Use Tax.
  
  
  
  MUST HAVE SKILLS
  
  
  • 
    
  • 2 or more -recent years of experience in a Public Accounting / CPA firm ( a CPA license is NOT required).
    
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent for Tax Accountant role
    
  • Experience Reviewing or Preparing Taxes
    
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and Explorer Internet software; FastTrack or similar tax software
    
  • Complex tax preparation experience, including corporate returns

    • Bilingual in English and Spanish
