Bookkeeper Job - International Freight Forwarding - Miami, FLSalary: $50,000 - $60,000 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive and track incoming payments and enter them against the correct invoice/client.
• Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
• Invoicing customers: sends invoices and statements, Posts bills and submits for payment
• Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances
• Audits shipment job files daily, ensuring timeliness and accuracy completion of shipment jobs
• Prepares bank reconciliations, reconcile entries into the accounting system
• Provides support to the foreign subsidiaries as required.
• Update and maintain the general ledger
• Check both AP and AR charges for potential billing and charge problems
• Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Accountant of errors
• Recording any inconsistencies to help the Accountants reconcile inaccuracies
• Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
• Helping the VP of Financing with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
• Other accounting duties as requestedRequirements and skills:

    • Magaya (Preferred)Education and Experience Required:Accounting, Finance Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience or training.Location: Miami, FLSalary: $50,000 - $60,000This is a direct hire, full-time, permanent position.
