If you want to join an accounting firm with "out of the box" thinking, apply here!Location: Miami, Weston or Boca Raton, FloridaResponsibilitiesPrepare quarterly and annual payroll tax returns for various client typesPrepare and file sales tax returnsRecord business transactions and maintain the general ledger, including bank and credit card reconciliations, accruals and journal entriesPrepare financial reportsCommunicate directly with clientsAct proactively to address and resolve issuesOrganize documents electronically in SharePoint and GoFileRoomCultivate relationships and maintain contact with company clientsDesired QualificationsCollege degree in accounting or relevant experienceExcellent communication skills both verbal and written including excellent grammar skillsExcellent technology skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and interest in learning additional software packages as neededProficiency in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks DesktopAbility to develop own processes and follow through with themAbility to exercise good judgment and decision makingAbility to anticipate problems and act accordinglyTime management skills - ability to prioritize and multi-taskAbility to take initiative, be assertive and maintain confidenceAbility to work overtime as neededProfessional demeanorOrganizational skills and detail-oriented natureFluency in Spanish is a plus
