Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join a fast-growing financial institution. As the Accounting Assistant you will be exposed to the entire accounting cycle and perform basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks to support the accounting and finance departments. Responsibilities include reconciling bank records, drafting financial documents, invoicing customers, and collecting payments. This is the Accounting Assistant opportunity for you if you have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy! Ideal position for someone in school for Accounting TRAINING IS PROVIDED
Key responsibilities

• 
  
• 
  Support administrative duties as necessary
  
  
• 
  Perform day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll, payroll tax filings, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank account
  
  
• 
  Track expenses and evaluate financial budgets
  
  
• 
  Settle financial books including incoming and outgoing funds
  
  
• 
  Assist Accounting team with creating and editing financial documents
  
  
• 
  Design the bookkeeping processes of the company
  
  
• 
  Communicate with clients via phone and email as necessary

  Requirements - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and time management

    Prior bookkeeping experience desired

    Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet application highly desired

    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study preferred
    
    
  • 
    Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as high attention to detail
    
    
  • 
    1+ years of experience working in accounting
