Our innovative and growing company is looking to fill the role of Intermediate Staff Accountant. Insigneo Financial Group ("Insigneo") is comprised of a family of financial companies that provide a variety of products and services to retail and institutional investors throughout various jurisdictions domestically and Latin America.Intermediate Staff Accountant Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by the Vice President of Accounting.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/MAIN FUNCTIONSWork closely with the Accounting and Procurement teams to provide consistent and accurate financial reporting for this growing operationPreparation and analysis of monthly journal entries across multiple entitiesReconcile accounts monthly to ensure proper reporting and general ledger maintenanceAnalyze financial statements for discrepancies and provide solutionsProvide and maintain documentation for external auditorsRecommend ways to improve procedures and increase efficienciesResponsibility for the financials of various subsidiaries within our corporate hierarchyAssist in the Procurement and Treasury processes as neededSupport accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closeProvide other duties as necessaryJOB REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related fieldMinimum 2 years of accounting work-related experienceKnowledge of cloud related ERPs systems a plus (Netsuite, Stampli, Floqast)Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PDFFluent in English and SpanishDESIRED SKILLSAble to work with high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environmentStrong academic background and motivated for ongoing professional growthMust be detail oriented, and organizedMust be self-motivated and have strong written and verbal communication skills
