How Youll Contribute: Kaufman Rossins Business Consulting team works with business leaders to maximize value through integrated services that combine transaction advisory, corporate finance, strategy, and performance management. Our approach to M&A advisory includes a robust assessment of financial and operational drivers to validate deal terms and help our clients maintain leverage in all negotiations. The team is currently looking for a Transaction Advisory Associate with healthcare experience to work alongside our CPAs, MBAs, technologists, fraud experts, valuators, former business operators, and more.

• Participate in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, specific to the healthcare industry, with both private equity and strategic corporate buyers and sellers
• Perform quality of earnings assessments
• Analyze the financial operations of target companies and identify issues that may impact the purchase price
• Understand and evaluate financial and operational trends of target companies
• Communicate due diligence findings in a formal report
• Interact with the other functional areas of the practice including tax, audit, and other consulting practices
• Maintain active communication with clients to manage their expectations, ensure client satisfaction, and make sure both firm and client deadlines are met How Youll Succeed:

  • Inquisitive mindset with aptitude for perpetual learning What Skills Youll Bring:
    • 2-3 years of recent public accounting or consulting experience, with a focus on audit and/or transaction advisory within the healthcare industry
    • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
    • Previous experience with acquisitions, divestitures, and/or financial due diligence
    • Strong knowledge of accounting, with experience analyzing financial statements and projections
    • Advanced Excel (including financial modeling) and PPT skills
    • Excellent written communication skills
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and comfort with public speaking
    • Aptitude for creatively solving problems and fixing things through critical and outside-the-box thinking
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to multi-task, demonstrate a sense of urgency, and meet reporting deadlines How Youll Stand Out:

      • CPA license or eligibility
