Job Description:

The respective candidate should be detail oriented, strong at multitasking, with a general grasp of accounting processes especially costs accounting (Sales/AR/Cash Receipts and Inventory/AP/Cash Disbursements). Must have good communication skills as this position will be required to work with employees at the local office as well as satellite offices around the country. The candidate should be comfortable assisting the Director of Accounting Operations with certain high-level tasks as well as helping out with various lower level tasks (roll up your sleeves type). Smart Source needs a candidate that d emonstrates a proactive and adaptable approach to supporting team needs and resolving unexpected challenges. KEY RESPONSIBILITES: Summary Billing Daily deposit preparation Bank Reconciliation Posting credit card transactions for customers New Customer account setup New Vendor Setup Billing corrections Assist in maintenance of documented system of accounting policies and procedures Assist in month end account reconciliations Assist with monthly inventory reconciliations Assist Inventory Manager with making sure all warehouse charges are charged back to the appropriate customer accounts Assist in providing supporting documentation for year end audits Candidate must have experience using Microsoft Office Products (Business Central, Word, Outlook, Excel) and be willing to learn more complex formulas and comparisons. Demand Bridge is used for our supply chain management and accounting functions. Any experience with this is a plus COMPENSATION: The company offers a contributory 401(k) plan and healthcare plan.
