Insurance Specialist - In Office -$2,500 Sign on bonus!

Office hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
One Saturday per month 9:00am to 1:00pm
Maintain correct insurance info on patient account as well as
re-bill denials in a timely manner.
This position is on-site only.
-Conduct outbound calls to insurance companies and determine if
patient will be serviced thru DME or pharmacy.-Ensure patient
primary insurance is accurate and entered in the appropriate
system.-Verify insurance.-handle denials & appeals for all private
insurances and some Medicare patients.-Bill orders corresponding to
a denial or change to a patients account.-Contact patients if
additional insurance information is needed.-Handle all inbound
calls from patients and insurance companies regarding any payments
made from the insurance company.-Intake all credit card payments
and questions regarding invoices for supplies.-Rebill claims to
insurance companies via paper or electronic-Contact insurance
companies to obtain claim status.- Be responsive to ongoing
feedback & training from team leaders & supervisors.-Ensure
appropriate representation of US MED by demonstrating the greatest
degree of professionalism & conduct.All other duties as
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an employee is

High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience calling insurance companies to dispute claims.
Experience billing and processing claims.
Knowledge of insurance portals.
Familiarity with a variety of medical and/or insurance terms or

Basic computer skills
