JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to fill our position of Administrative Assistant. This individual should have a strong desire to help our organisation reach its goals, while also demonstrating excellent communication, multitasking and problem-solving skills.The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support for the organisation. This will include managing multiple calendars; maintaining office files; making travel arrangements; composing routine correspondence; responding to inquiries from members, staff, vendors and others; coordinating meeting materials and agendas; organising conference calls and meetings; assisting with data entry projects; developing reports; handling mailings/postage/faxes/scans; making reservations/accommodations; ordering supplies as needed; supporting the accounts payable process when necessary; maintaining accurate inventory records and updating information in an internal database. The ideal candidate should have strong organisational abilities, keen attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.Requirements:--- At least two years of administrative experience--- Proven record of successful multi-tasking and organisational skills--- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal--- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)--- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team--- Willingness to learn new technologies and systems quickly--- Knowledge of common office procedures--- Reliable attendance is requiredSalary: $29,000 - $36,000 per year
