Position Summary: The company is seeking an experienced Vice President of marketing strategy to be based in Miami, FL. The candidate will be responsible for implementing the go - to- market strategy for PrendeTV, the company's newest video streaming platform, reaching millions of Hispanics is the U.S. and LATAM. The successful candidate will drive viewership growth through multiplatform channels, including the O&O, off air and linear platforms to deliver the best in Spanish streaming entertainment across targeted segments and platforms. In this position, the candidate will work closely with the product, programming, content acquisition, paid media, and internal media teams to develop and execute multi-platform campaigns across internal and external platforms. The ideal candidate must have a proven record of successful app marketing. Experience with engaging social media audiences through content on platforms like FB, IG and TikTok is desired. Experience implementing processes to acquire users while optimizing marketing results, streamlining workflows and maintaining brand standards is required. This position will require strong communication, organizational and presentation skills along with an ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the DTC marketing strategy for O&O subscriber acquisition of PrendeTV, balancing short and long term goals with investment priorities
  • Manage operations to ensure all work streams are integrated to reflect the overall vision and goals for the VOD/OTT platform
  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with internal executive stakeholders (engineering, product, data, content and programming)
  • Strategize for overall channel promotions, providing input for external multi- platform campaigns and internal platform promotions
  • Analyze consumption patterns and lead adjustments of the creative strategy based on content performance
  • Demonstrate thought leadership regularly & innovate how PrendeTV markets to the rapidly evolving global Hispanic video streaming audience
  • Remain abreast with competitor and industry trends; draw insights that can be leveraged for OTT services
  • Hire, mentor and manage team members against program growth and success objectives
  • Directly manage external agencies, including sourcing best in class partners
  • Define strategies for on-air, cross-channel, distribution partners, paid partnerships, experiential and influencer initiatives
  • Partner with our internal analysis groups and the advanced analytics organization to leverage viewership data and proactively determine where, and how in-depth insights, can make marketing more successful to accomplish team/brand goals.
  • Serve as the hub of PrendeTV Marketing communication for all strategies and campaign elements across divisions.
  • Identify training and development needs in the overall team, and provide inputs on hiring, structure and succession planning
  • Hire, mentor and manage team members against program growth and success objectives
  • Inspire & lead a diverse team of marketing professionals to produce innovative creative marketing for best-in-class workMinimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business; an MBA is desired
    • Minimum 15 years of experience in consumer marketing, including DTC strategy, with increased responsibility and collaboration with all aspects of business
    • Proven leader with strong media strategy & planning knowledge is necessary- must be familiar with supporting streaming/digital content via multiplatform, paid media & organic social media
    • First-hand experience in launching an SVOD or AVOD service with deep understanding of brand building, subscriber acquisition, and best practices in engagement and retention of subscribers
    • A deeply analytical and data-driven mindset - Proven ability to build and leverage a successful data and insights practice that informs decision making in the areas of content, programming, marketing, distribution, and customer experience
    • Knowledge and clear understanding of the US Hispanic audience or LATAM streaming audience is a plus
    • Strong business acumen; polished public speaking and presentation skills in English and Spanish is required. Portuguese is a plus
