Sr. Manager of Marketing Planning and Operations reports to the
Associate Vice President of Brand Marketing and is responsible for
the Global Market Planning process engineered to ensure continuous
improvement on marketing's strategic focus and improve
collaboration across the department. The priorities for the role
include leading regular alignment meetings with the Marketing
Leadership team and communicating with the broader marketing
organization to ensure channel and media efforts are coordinated,
transparent, and optimal. This includes leading the Global Market
collaboration to develop systems and plans that stem from the
larger Market Planning calendar and align with local markets. The
Sr. Manager of Marketing Planning and Operations also regularly
maintains and communicates the Content Calendar to provide
line-of-sight to channels on when toolkits, assets, and other
creative deliverables will be complete. With the goal to create a
transparent ecosystem of marketing activities, the Sr. Manager
develops ideas and concepts to improve processes and better
streamline operations and provide transparency. The Sr. Manager
builds strong relationships with the Product Marketing and Product
Performance teams, as well as Channel owners and the Marketing
Leadership team.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Regularly updates the Marketing Leadership team on upcoming
priorities and project shifts on both Brand and Product
calendars
- Effectively sets agendas for key marketing stakeholder
alignment meetings to enable full marketing channel and media
optimization
- Partners with the Product Marketing and Product Performance
teams to create the high-level annual Market Plan for Marketing
Leadership
- Partners with the Brand and Product Marketing teams to ensure
creative assets are delivered in timely manner for channels to
effectively plan
- Partners with Product Performance team to understand consumer
and business trends to recommend prioritization shifts as
needed
- Maintains the Content Calendar to provide transparency and
accuracy of toolkit, asset, and other creative deliverables.
- Maintains the Market Planning calendar
- Provides recommendations to improve omni-channel market
consistency and back-of-house operations.
- Drives content creation productivity by bringing ideas to
better coordinate production efforts across various content
teams
- Manages required day-to-day tasks, including project tracking
and timeline management, meeting coordination, and key stakeholder
approvals
- Develops presentations, recaps, and other materials for
internal and external meetings
- Creative problem solver and idea initiator in cross-functional
teams
- Work with a solid level of independence on new or unfamiliar
projects of moderate complexity and quick turnarounds
- Challenges current processes and leads special projects to
iterate and improve cross-functional collaboration and integration
within and outside of the marketing organization
- Performs other duties as required. This job description in no

their supervisor or management.Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
- Minimum of four years of relevant Marketing experience
- Ability to analyze and clearly define marketing and consumer
opportunities
- Experience leading and influencing teams, ensuring alignment
and integration
- Independent project management experience: proven ability to
lead a team of diverse individuals and ability to influence senior
leadership and non-direct reports
- Travel/cruise industry experience a plus
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or
a related field
- MBA preferred
- Project Management certification and software and experience
preferred
- Possesses strong analytical skills and ability to think
strategically
- Has strong attention-to-detail, advanced written and verbal
communication skills
- Demonstrate meticulous follow-through and the ability to manage
multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to manage a network of interdependent priorities in a
dynamic environment
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and motivated with a desire to outperform
- Must have the ability to interface and maintain excellent
professional relationships with a variety of internal and external
audiences
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel and
PowerPoint
