Job Description:
The OneUnited Bank Marketing & Social Media Dept. is looking for
an experienced, innovative, strategic creative leader who has led
powerful creative and social media campaigns. You will inspire and
drive pivotal change while developing and executing world-class,
effective creative strategies for a range of digital channels,
including email, web, direct mail, display, video, and social media
channel content; broadcast TV and OOH when deemed necessary. You
know the formula for developing brand-building, breakthrough
creative social media campaigns that drive results, on target, and
on brand. You will keep the social media team ahead of the content
curve and help build future creative talent and leaders. What
you'll do
- Lead and inspire the team to develop strategically grounded,
insight-driven creative and social media editorial calendars.
- Empower and inspire full-time associates and interns through
coaching and help them develop in their careers.
- Collaborate with the VP, Marketing & Social Media, VP, Customer
Success, enterprise strategists and internal business partners to
understand consummate needs, positively influencing creative,
social media strategy and the customer experience.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of graphic design (Adobe Suite
expert), advertising and social media trends and translate business
intent into creative strategies and executions that market
financial products/services effectively.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the intended audience;
interprets market research and tests results; uses findings to
focus targeted marketing messages.
- Establish the corporate Brand book and Style guide in adherence
with the OneUnited Bank brand identity and unique
story/vision.
- Build and maintain relationships with a network of cross
departmental groups (CIO, COO, customer service, finance, legal,
etc.) to anticipate and proactively address obstacles and establish
brand creative & social platform footprint as a strategic thought
partner.
- Present and influence with a convincing and inspiring style to
increase buy-in and open the door for new and emerging
opportunities across the creative and social media landscape.
- You'll ensure designs and content reflect consistency while
elevating the brand image and company ideals.
- You'll effectively communicate and govern both creative &
social media strategy throughout the organization.
- -You'll use segment research and journey mapping to inform and
influence creative and social media strategy, including the
customer experience (B2B/B2C).
- You'll work within extensive design systems that are the single
source of truth for all team members and include all the elements
that allow our team to efficiently design, maintain, and develop
creative and digital assets to support our marketing strategy.
- You'll lead and present design concepts & prototypes with
leadership teams, collaborating to achieve project goals and social
media strategy.
- You'll effectively represent social media and advertising
design concepts and the supporting rationale to non-design partners
with finesse and diplomacy. Who you are:You want to be an

and inspire others. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or military experience
- At least 4-5 years of experience leading creative teams
including professional development
- At least 4-5 years of experience leading integrated marketing
campaigns Preferred Qualifications
- 4 or more years of experience as a Creative or Social Media
Lead
- Experience at a large in-house or agency creative team
- Experience marketing financial products and services across
social platforms with a track record of both quantitative and
qualitative results. WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL EFFORT:
- Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and
weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice.
- No regular travel required, but periodic travel is necessary.

status. Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000 Annual Compensation /
$2307.69 - $2692.30 Biweekly
