We are looking for a Documentation Specialist/Technical Writer
to support our client based in Miami Dade County, Florida.US BASED
CANDIDATES ONLY. **No Sponsorship - C2C - Third Parties**This is an
on-site or hybrid position. Candidates must be located in or near

startups.The projectTECKpert seeks to hire a Documentation
Specialist/Technical Writer to support our client, a government
agency based in Miami Dade County, FL. Job duties include, but are
not limited to:
Serve as the primary author and
editor of technical documentation for assigned products, developing
a deep understanding of the products, features, and
functionalityWork with product managers, developers, QA engineers,
and other stakeholders to create high-quality documentation that
meets the needs of our customersWrite clear, concise, and
user-friendly documentation that can be easily understood by both
technical and non-technical audiencesOrganize and maintain existing
documentation sets, ensuring accuracy and completenessDevelop and
implement processes and standards for creating, revising, and
publishing documentationManage multiple projects simultaneously and
adjust on-the-fly as priorities changeBalance customer needs with
business objectives to produce documentation that is both useful
and commercially viableUse analytical and problem-solving skills to
identify trends and recommend solutionsTrain and mentor new team
members on documentation processes and standardsParticipate in
product development sprints and design reviewsPerform quality
assurance checks on documentation prior to releaseCompensation and
Term This opportunity is for a full-time, one year contract
position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with
experience up to $39.30/hour or $81,735 per year. Medical, dental,
vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.
Candidates are expected to work onsite at our clients location.
Qualifications you needA successful Documentation
Specialist/Technical Writer possesses or provides the following:
Bachelors degree in English,
communications, or related fieldRequired Technical
Writer/Documentation Specialist Skills 3-5 years professional
writing experienceExceptional writing, editing, and research
skillsAbility to work independently and with a team to meet
deadlinesExcellent organizational skill and multitasking
abilityProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
Pro**Preferred Skills and Qualifications**
Experience working with content
management systems, WordPress, etc.Proofreading experience and
familiarity with standard style guidesExperience developing and
managing online documentationA keen eye for detail and appreciation
of great designFamiliarity with HTML, CSS, and other web
