Job Description:

The Logistics Coordinator (Procurement & Reporting) manages and executes the procurement, approval process, inventory management, replenishment and distribution of all Ship and Distribution Center supplies and maintenance. - This includes the creating and maintaining of various spreadsheets/reports to support procurement and management key metrics (spend, receipts, volume, budget, accrual, inventory levels, consumption, etc.) as required. - Ensuring that the Logistics Procurement and Reporting SOP's and tools remain current at all times.
What you'll be doing:

  • Supports the Logistics Management with the planning, sourcing, procurement, and approval process for supplies required by Distribution Center and Ships - - - - - -
  • Maintain inventory levels to a minimum to increase cash flow availability, while ensuring sufficient supply to meet the needs of the distribution center and ships - - - - - -
  • Works with vendors to ensure accurate and timely receipt, entry, processing and approval of invoices, accruals, payment, and reporting - - - - - -
  • Updates purchase orders, ensures P.O.'s match anticipated delivery dates and supplier information - - - - - -
  • Supports management with forecasting and month end financial reporting for all DC and Ship supplies - - - - - -
  • Assists with the preparation of RFQ's and communication with vendors for information - - - - - -
  • Ensures price lists of all accounts are up to date - - - - - -
  • Adheres to project (new builds, closedowns, offloads) timelines to ensure proper supply inventory is available to meet project needs - - - - - -
  • Maintains procurement metrics including purchasing, spending, receipts, volumes, inventory levels, budget, out of stocks, etc. - - - - - -
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining various spreadsheets/reports to support procurement/purchasing - - - - - -
  • Complete projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation from others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; and adjusting plans

    What we're looking for:
    Education and Experience:

    • 4-6 Years of experience required
    • Associates Degree required

      Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

      • Minimum two years of experience in Purchasing, Logistics and General Administration
      • Experience coordinating bid packages/RFQ's & the procurement of goods
      • Advanced MS Excel (specifically formulas/pivot tables) and systems skills are essential and a principle requirement
      • Ability to follow through on all assigned tasks meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
      • Positive approach and willingness to accept new projects as required
      • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
      • Ability to work well with others in a demanding, fast-paced environment

        Decision Making:

        • Duties and activities reviewed periodically. - Supervisor monitors work progress and determines actions on unusual items. - Moderate level of problem solving ability.

            Other:Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkSome flexibility in hours is permitted, employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday and must work 30 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
            Physical Demands:Office environment with frequent sitting, walking and standing, occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand and finger coordination enabling use of office machinery. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Oral and auditory enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication automated devise such as the telephone.
