Job DescriptionSEEKING DYNAMIC DIGITAL MARKETING ROCKSTAR to join our amazing Carnival Trade Marketing team. We are seeking creative thinkers with big ideas, a can-do spirit and an 'I've got this' attitude to be Carnival's expert in social media, multi-channel content development and digital marketing for our B2B marketing channel focused on travel agencies who sell Carnival cruise vacations. Our audience includes top travel agency brands such as Expedia, Cruises.com, Dream Vacations, Cruise Planners and many more. Ideal candidate has 3+ years ad agency experience with a passion to transition to client-side work among an outstanding and FUN and innovative group of Carnival colleagues. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS MULTI-CHANNEL DIGITAL CONTENT

  • Responsible for developing and updating 50+ content segments for very popular Travel Advisors onboarding/training program
    • Develop video + voiceover segments spanning Brand overview, Carnival guest overview, Sales programs, Marketing tools and more.
    • Position is responsible for collaborating with internal SMEs for scripting and content accuracy, creative design of deliverable, and posting to Carnival's digital library.
    • Plays key role in managing relationship with 3rd party tech/hosting platform to ensure customers have flawless access to content 24/7.
    • Responsible for proposing additional multi-use/multi-channel opportunities to share content beyond onboarding platform.
    • Leads end to end development of Carnival Fleet Brochure and Carnival Ship Guide. The -80 page Fleet Brochure, a high-value marketing piece, and Ship Guide are delivered digitally. The Fleet brochure is also delivered printed.
      • Leads ad agency relationships to prioritize content, oversee design and copy development.
      • Leads all market research - qualitative and quantitative - with travel advisors to ensure brochure exceeds audience expectations.
      • Provides comprehensive analysis on cost estimates considering page counts, paper quality, and print costs.
      • Manages relationship with print vendor.Supervises color proofing and final printing (on site) for final production.
      • Creates and executes Carnival Ship Guide for travel agent channel that drives brand knowledge.
      • Evaluates and makes recommendations for new e-brochure delivery platforms to grow electronic adoption of brochure. ONLINE MARKETING
        • Develops and executes design and content strategy for GoCCL.com (Carnival's travel agent website) and Carnivalmeetings.com (site dedicated to charters/large group sales).
          • Manages homepage merchandising strategy to ensure that product and promotional content is aligned with company priorities. Owns content calendar and collaborates with creative services team to create assets.
          • Website ownership includes creation of landing pages, content updates and content/banner scheduling via content management system Sitecore.
          • High-level of ownership and autonomy to deliver innovative design and content that ensures website is supporting travel agent community to deliver incremental sales. NOTE:position does not oversee reservations/booking portion of GoCCL.com; only focuses on product/programs/marketing content sections.
          • Creates and executes engaging online contests for the travel agent channel that drive brand interest and knowledge.
            • Collaborates in ideation process to introduce new content ideas
            • Owns project briefing and ongoing project management with ad agencies and supervises all content development with agency partners.
            • Past examples (sharing links as reference) have included Carnival Bingo https://bit.ly/3NOeyRt and Carnival Word Search SOCIAL MEDIA
              • Leads end-to-end social efforts for Facebook.com/Carnivaltrade.
              • Owns content strategy, content design, posting/scheduling, and comment management to ensure high reach and engagement.
              • Leads social advertising strategy and calendar to maximize impact.
              • Collaborates with Carnival's consumer marketing social team (Facebook & Instagram) to identify relevant content, share design and copy as needed for cross-team impact.
              • Collaborates with Trade Marketing Creative Services team to deliver final creative + videos to bring strategy to life.
              • Owns Facebook contest/mini-game program including concepting, ad agency collaboration on T&C and prizing.
              • Work closely with SVP Global Sales and Marketing, Adolfo Perez to create content that represents SVP's vision and strategy for the page and the Global Sales organization overall.
              • Creativity, Innovation, New ideas and an EXCELLENT project management are key to success in this area! REPORTING/ANALYTICS
                • Leads insights and reporting for all projects and programs under Specialist's supervision
                • Proactively identifies opportunities to expand and improve programs and channels in their area CARNIVAL SALES COMMUNICATIONS
                  • Acts as primary communications liaison between HQ teams and Carnival's remote sales teams
                  • Manages internal 'Sales Alert' comms to ensure marketing/product/program content is distributed clearly and in a timely way to remote sales colleagues OTHER PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED BY MANAGEMENT

                    • We may have occasional projects or tasks beyond those identified and may ask for your support - but you can be sure it will be FUN and IMPORTANT work and you'll always learn a ton of new things while doing it! Less than 25% non-shipboard travel likely QUALIFICATIONS
                      • Bachelors + 3 years experience preferred; will consider Associates + 5 years experience
                      • Advertising agency experience preferred - with both account management, design experience, and project delivery
                      • Experience in travel/hospitality segment a plus
                      • 3+ years of previous experience (or associates degree + 5 years' experience), preferably with an advertising agency
                      • Experience in both project/account management and creative design
                      • Microsoft Office required including excellent PowerPoint + advanced Word and Excel skills. Adobe Photoshop intermediate knowledge needed. Content Management System (Sitecore/WordPress) knowledge preferred, but not required.
                      • This role requires a real go-getter that has outstanding ideas + technical/design experience + excellent project management to ensure flawless execution. The role offers tremendous opportunity to design and lead major projects across the digital marketing arena with high visibility to senior leaders at Carnival. Candidate must demonstrate a high level of ownership and drive, ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, meet tight deadlines, and focus on highly detailed projects. Experience managing cross-functional projects and working with a variety of colleagues with different backgrounds is a must. Strong verbal and written communication skills required.Experience working with senior executives highly valued as the position interacts with high-ranking executives at both Carnival and our largest Travel agency accounts. Must be flexible and comfortable with changes in direction and working in a fast-paced environment. Previous travel/hospitality industry experience a plus but not necessary. #LI-GS1 #LI-Hybrid The range for this role's base salary is $51,600 - $75,300. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience. Director and above roles may also be eligible to participate in Carnival's discretionary equity incentive plan.
