JOB TITLE - Education Coordinator

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES - The Education Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the inventory of all equipment and supplies for American Red Cross sponsored program. This position works with the supply coordinators and the StaRN and StarTECH support team to identify learners and residents with ALS/BLS and PALS skills check off. -The Education Coordinator will work with Supply Manager and Lead to ensure all supplies are in stock and available for use for all ARC sponsored program, including manikin and all adjunct accessories required for skills check off. -The Education Coordinator will also be responsible to ensure that all manikins are working properly and will travel various locations within the market and division to check off residents/learners on the appropriate program. -The Education Coordinator will also assist the Supply coordinators, Lead, and Manager with tracking of supplies, inventory assistance, and location of supplies in market or division. -This position establishes strong internal and external relationships in a professional manner, coordinates timely shipment of equipment and supplies for our cohorts according to schedules and checklists. This position will work closely with and support all Education Leadership and Staff.

SUPERVISOR - Supply Manager



Coordinates delivery of manikins to our program sites
Physically deliver manikins to program sites with the use of personal vehicle
Responsible for set up and troubleshooting of manikins for ALS/BLS and PALS skills check off room
Manages the ordering of -supplies, manikins and support equipment as needed
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment to assure sufficient resources available
General supply room maintenance
- - - - - - - -Engage/supervise work of outside vendors.
Notify manager and Education Director of significant maintenance and operational deficiencies
Responds to requests and problems concerning StaRN supplies and equipment
Ships supplies and equipment per requests
Supervises the return of all supplies and equipment returned at end of -cohort
Manage/Maintains -all tracking systems for supplies including : SharePoint & other software applications
Assist other Education Staff with coordination of cohorts needs
Gathers information and develops summaries as requested
Maintain and assembles learning materials and orientation bags as needed
Assist other staff as requested
Attend meeting as assigned and reports on actions
Any other duties as assigned

Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings (8, 10 and or 12 hour days)

This is a full-time hourly position. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Schedule is subject to change. Calls/Emails of high importance that require immediate attention must be handled accordingly.

This position requires the ability to drive and rent an automobile. Local travel in market/division is required regularly, up to 80% of the time. This position also requires the ability to fly in an airplane and moderate (10% - 30%) travel outside of the home/market may be required.

- - - - - - - - -Associate degree in business administration, Education, or completion of graduate program preferred


- - - - - - - - -One year of supply or warehouse experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Relevant education and/or experience may substitute experience requirement


- - - - - - - - -Position requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Position requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing, verbal communication and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriately to perform job responsibilities, lifting paper or boxes up to 40 pounds occasionally. Work will be stressful at times Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations.
