Position Specific Description
FPLES IT team is seeking a seasoned programmer analyst/developer
with great hands-on knowledge in programming apps for today and the
future. This person will develop and maintain solutions to support
the fast-paced growth of our commercial and residential
businesses.
Job Tasks:
Our software engineers collaborate with business analysts, and
product experts to design, build, and maintain applications that
model and enhance the FPLES product lines. We work as a team: each
of us takes our turn to lead, follow, teach, or learn as the

You have previous experience with AWS, Cloudfront/Cloudformation,
EC2 setup, SEO, API programming with REST/JSON/OAUTH, XML, SQL and
programming in Java Web technologies, Adobe technologies such as
AEM

You model technical excellence and professional camaraderie
As a full stack developer:
You have excellent modern JavaScript development skills: React,
CSS, packaging, and automated testing
You have solid UI design skills and are an exceptional collaborator
with users and product owners
You are happy to contribute across the stack, learning other skills
as needed
You have excellent cloud software development skills: distributed
system design, container orchestration, data engineering, and
integrated testing
You will be very productive with our primary development toolkit:
Java, Salesforce APEX or Aura, Zuora, Javascript, REST, Adobe
AEM/AEP, AWS
Essential Skills:
Hands-on programming experience in Java web technologies and API
Integrations.
ETL, SQL, Salesforce Apex (plus), JSON, Javascript (and related
frameworks)
High proficiency in tools such as Postman Collections, Adobe
AEM/AEP, AWS Configuration & Setup, SEO
Used to agile, fast paced, dynamic project environments
5+ years' experience as a full stack programmer with cloud platform
configuration hands on exposure
Bachelor's degree

Job Overview
This position assesses, designs, develops, integrates and
troubleshoots technology to support business processes. Employees
provide technical or functional guidance to project or work teams,
as needed within specific or multiple disciplines. This position is
accountable for ensuring the reliability, performance, security,
and continuity of IT systems, as well as ensuring that excellent
technical support services are provided.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
--- Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements,
maintains, integrates, customizes, and enhances existing or new
systems
--- Applies appropriate Agile or development methodologies, system
development lifecycles, tools, and technology to manage development
activities
--- Automates the handoff of code releases from development to
operations (DevOps)
--- Participates in the change management and service ticket
management processes including receiving, resolution monitoring,
and ensuring customer satisfaction
--- Leads projects when needed and builds strong working
understanding of the solution being delivered
--- Ensures user satisfaction by providing preventative
maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of more complex
problems
--- Designs, develops, and tests experimental application work to
test new ideas with bounded cost and time frames
--- Ensures that applications processes are conducted in line with
corporate social responsibility, security, compliance,
environmental, and technical policies and applicable standards and
legislation
--- Acts as liaison with regulatory agencies, vendors, and
contractors on matters relating to computer systems as required
--- Defines metrics and monitors Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
for systems being developed
--- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
--- High School Grad / GED
--- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
--- Experience: 6+ years
