year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Sign
Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services within a
school setting. This role requires expertise in facilitating clear
and effective communication between hearing-impaired students and
educators through virtual platforms. The position is based in Fort
Lauderdale, FL, and is structured as a 1099 contract. Key
responsibilities include: Providing high-quality sign language
interpretation for telehealth sessions, ensuring accurate
transmission of information. Collaborating with educational staff
to support students' communication needs in a virtual learning
environment. Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism during
all assignments. Adapting interpretation techniques to suit diverse
student needs and educational content. Qualifications and desired
experience: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with
demonstrated interpreting skills. Experience interpreting in
educational or telehealth settings preferred. Strong understanding
of telecommunication tools and ability to work remotely. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage time
effectively and maintain consistent availability for scheduled
sessions. This 1099 contract role offers the flexibility to engage
