Horizon is pushing the boundaries of healthcare technology and new product concepts to extend Olive's capabilities. Horizon is focused on exploration and experimentation through agile and rapid delivery of proof of concept solutions. The team is exploring diverse concepts from transformative healthcare devices to applied machine learning.

Responsibilities (to Include But Not Limited To)

  • Collect product vision and desires from stakeholders, to develop product feature-sets and development requirements
  • Interact with engineers and product development vendors to manage project progress, innovation, and dynamic requirements over time
  • Conduct market research into vendors, partners, technologies, capabilities, components and the cutting-edge
  • Align product capabilities with the larger Olive ecosystem, to maximize benefit and efficiency
  • Deliver documentation necessary to communicate with everyone involved
  • Conduct testing using hardware and software, and make suggestions for how things should work to maximize user experience
  • Have the ability to own a set of projects and carefully plan for design reviews and stakeholder inputs
  • Work with a multidisciplinary engineering team to iterate through ideas and deliver proof of concept, prototype, and production solutions
  • Take technical ownership of tasks and work independently
    • Bachelor's in Engineering or relevant equivalent experience
    • 3+ years of Hardware Development experience in some combination of the following areas:
      • Product Development
      • Prototype Creation
      • User Experience and Training
      • Previous experience with the following areas:
        • Designing, documenting, and delivering product prototypes
        • Taking a design from inception through production
        • Self-directed, highly energetic, proactive, with excellent written and verbal communication skills utilizing technical design documents, presentations, and visual aids
        • Flexible, creative, able & excited to learn new technologies and drive innovation
