Job Description

The primary purpose of this role is to design and develop capabilities for Medable to integrate with all other systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, execute, and test enhancements and resolutions to client projects
  • Document and maintain solutions for custom client requirements, including backend to backend integrations and new features, extending the Medable product offering
  • Be an active participant in the process of creating standard operating procedures for Medable's internal work and best practices guidelines for our customers
  • Create and establish standard tools and processes for integrating Medable's platform with other technology solutions
  • Provide technical feasibility assessments and scoping for projects and product support
  • Lead, motivate, and coordinate teams. Coach/mentor team members as appropriate
  • Identify and collaborate with other areas of the company to determine best practices for analysis, design, build, test design, validation, and documentation Collaborate with varied stakeholders to define scope, design, plan, and implement integration solutions.
  • Evaluate and determine the best way to integrate between 3rd party systems
  • Simultaneously manage multiple responsibilities
  • Support customers with API integrations
  • Collaborate with QA to perform bug fixing and improving application performance
  • Provide support to customers to export data
  • Proactively identifies and addresses issues or risks
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
    • 3-5+ years of professional experience designing solutions to meet business needs with skills in data modeling, development (including direct experience with Javascript)
    • Strong proven background in translating business requirements to technical specifications
      Additional Information
      • EDI experience, in healthcare or clinical trials (preferred)
      • Experience developing and configuring HL7 and FHIR interfaces
      • Knowledge of interface messaging standards, including HL7, FHIR, CCD/CCDA
      • Detail-oriented and results-driven
      • Adept at solving complicated technical problems and conversing with clients
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple terms
      • Effectively work on teams and collaborate across multiple divisions within the company
      • Ability to learn new skills and quickly adapt to a rapidly evolving industry sector.
      • Experience creating and managing project plans and workflow diagrams
      • Experience developing Javascript and nodeJS
      • Experience with clinical trials (preferred)
      • Experience with clinical trial or healthcare software solutions (lab, EDC, imaging, etc)
      • Experience with clinical trial data management a plus
