Forensic Mechanical Licensed Professional Engineer As a Forensic Engineer with U.S. Forensic you will: Conduct automotive, mechanical, electrical and building envelope evaluations to determine cause of failure, damages or injury. Investigations may include structural water intrusion, moisture source identification, air conditioning failures, plumbing issues, and evaluating various components to identify potential defects. Work from your home office about 50% of the time and conduct site visits about 50% of the time. Set your own schedule while working a 40-hour week which includes travel time to sites with only occasional overtime. Travel to site visits that are mostly local to you, with only occasional overnight travel. Not just sit at a desk all week but perform inspections that involve physical activity. Write professional, concise reports that require analytical abilities.
