DESCRIPTIONCosta Farms is seeking a Process Engineer to be responsible for process optimization. The process Engineer will also be in charge of the documentation and implementation of different projects and initiatives. The successful candidate will be able to improve business processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability. This position will have access to almost every aspect of our business and manufacturing operations.
DUTIES

• Optimize and document manufacturing processes through the entire supply chain. These business processes include procurement to payables, production operations, inventory management, and shipping.
• Ensure process documentation is user-friendly and accessible in English and Spanish
• Develop best practices to deliver process documentation using appropriate tools (web apps, apps, MS Tools, or through integration with ERP, etc.)
• Work with the compliance team to ensure business processes are being adhered to
• Manage cost and time constraints.
• Perform risk assessments.

  • Works in an office environment and farms or warehouse facilities as needed.

      QUALIFICATIONS
      • BS degree in Engineering Discipline. (Industrial/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering).
      • Excellent technical skills.
      • Working knowledge of process engineering software packages.
      • Experience in process simulation required.
      • Experience with MS Visio.
      • Analytical and process mindset with interpersonal skills.
      • Able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines/Detail orientated.All applicants must be work authorized.
