Job Description Job Description Job Title: Entry-Level Metal Fabricator (1st Shift) Staffing Agency: PrideStaff Palm Beach County Location: West Palm Beach Are Schedule: Monday – Friday First Shift Pay Range: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour (Based on entry-level skill set) Position Overview PrideStaff is seeking motivated, mechanically inclined individuals for Entry-Level Metal Fabrication roles. Whether you are a recent trade school graduate or have a strong DIY background with tools, this is an opportunity to get your foot in the door with premier aerospace, aviation, and custom manufacturing companies in Palm Beach County. Available Pathways We are currently placing candidates in three primary fabrication areas: Entry-Level Assembler: * Perform basic sub-assemblies of metal parts using hand tools and air-impact tools (wrenches, screwdrivers). Read basic work orders to ensure parts are aligned correctly. Conduct visual quality inspections for burrs or defects. Junior Welder (MIG/TIG): * Assist senior welders by clamping, tack-welding, and cleaning metal surfaces (grinding/deburring). Learn to interpret blueprints and weld symbols. Note: Candidates must be willing to perform a basic weld test. Machine Operator Trainee: * Load raw materials into CNC machines, saws, or press brakes. Learn to use precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers to check part accuracy. Maintain equipment and keep a clean, safe workspace. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED; completion of a vocational/trade school program is a major plus. Mechanical Aptitude: You enjoy working with your hands and have experience using power tools and measuring tapes. Technical Skills: Ability to read basic drawings or instructions and perform simple shop math. Physical Demands: Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
