Our Opportunity: Chewy is looking for an analytical, curious and passionate Program Manager, Business Process Transformation to join our Business Process Transformation team at our Hollywood, FL office. The BPT Program Manager is responsible for driving process standardization and improvement projects and successful implementation of effective solutions. Extensive experience in Lean, change management and problem solving, with a passion to attract, lead, coach, motivate, and develop others. A hands-on operating style with a tenacity to build support for change. Self-motivated with a bias for action, a sense of urgency, and the ability to quickly take personal responsibility to drive improvements. What you'll do: * Must be able to identify, develop, and manage process improvement activities (problem solving sessions, projects, and Just Do Its) in both operational and transactional processes. * Use process improvement methodologies and tools including, but not limited to 5S, Mapping, Kaizen, Visual Management, and A3 reports. * Develop and coach associates, driving a cultural change that embraces process improvement to improve productivity, quality, delivery, and cost. * Develop recommendations for leadership to support attainment of goals and requirements and sustainment of process improvement. * Individually complete defined/assigned projects as needed. Deliver project status updates and action list follow up. * Ensure consistent, efficient and effective operation by creating standards, sharing best practices, developing and monitoring metrics, and communicating with both team members and support functions about operations performance improvement opportunities across multiple locations. * Assist in developing and documenting procedures to be used across operations. * Provide support to facilitate, complete and sustain improvement projects. * Provide training and coaching to management, supervisors/leads and frontline employees in the use of process improvement tools. * Identify, define, and implement improvements to business processes based on business performance measurements/KPIs. * Define and analyze key performance indicators to monitor successful implementation of improvements as compared to established goals and targets. * Analyze processes to locate areas of waste, duplication of efforts, or customer pain points. * Strong ability to gather and analyze significant amounts of data to drive in-depth root cause analysis and fact-based decision making. * Work independently, with minimal guidance and effectively with professionals at all levels of the organization. What you'll need: * Ability to engage a cross-functional team towards a desired outcome. * Strong change management skills to include the practical implementation of Lean principles and concepts, challenge status quo and feel comfortable dealing with ambiguity. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong leadership, problem solving and logical/analytical skills. * Ability to organize and plan use of time and people effectively and efficiently. * Ability to perform well with time-sensitive tasks. * Able to build strong business relationships at all levels and effectively communicate across functional teams. * Must possess strong communication, and inter-personal skills. * Quick learner, curious and goal oriented. * Excellent planning and organization skills. * Strong track record of driving results. * Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Math, Economics, Finance, Operations Management, Operational Research, Statistics, Supply Chain or a related quantitative degree. * Prior experience successfully managing process improvement projects and/or working with medium-large operation teams. * Comfort level with working with large data sets (i.e. millions of rows of data). * Must have excellent presentation skills including use of common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (advance level). * Position may require travel. Bonus: * Six Sigma Certification (Green or Black), PMP Certification or equivalent. * Prior work experience in call centers or customer service operations teams.
