Job Description:

Description POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES bull Develop timelines and production schedules in collaboration with Marketing and Production teams for all print and all digital projects. bull Organize creative workflow and timelines for all marketing projects requiring creative services, including large complex projects such as direct mail pieces and brochures, digital and web projects. bull Establish creative brief templates to ensure timely sharing of required information between Marketing and Graphics teams relevant to job requests. bull Work closely with Creative and Production teams to ensure project timelines are followed, vendor specifications are accurately provided and deliverables are met. bull Responsible for identifying resource gaps based on workflow, making recommendations to Director of Marketing Services andor Manager of Creative Services on appropriate action plans including scheduling amendments or adding freelance staff on a temporary basis as needed. bull Manage web-based project management system - making continual optimizations with vendor to improve workflow and generate automated reporting on a regular basis. Collect input from entire Marketing Department on how system is working, leading the charge with system by making improvements. bull Manage contract and negotiate annual contract terms to ensure agreement maximizes needs. Assist in building and maintaining a content asset systemlibrary for image and copy content. Assist in project management and timeline scheduling of video asset projects. bull Support the planning and development of new marketing initiatives, helping to streamline content development and approval to increase speed to market. bull Maintain marketing and promotional calendars, along with product reference guides for department. Assist in pre-production planning and scheduling for video and photo shoots at direction of VP Creative. bull Manage post-production schedule and upload to Digital Asset Management system once approved. bull Develop and present regular analyses of department workflow, including key metrics and forecasting to support planning and resourcing for the department. bull Develop daily report of department priorities which will set the tasks for each day for Marketing team members, graphic designers, and copywriter. bull Make recommendations for and lead daily andor weekly status meetings with project managers, designers and printproduction teams to align on most urgent priorities. Maintain a final file document of Direct Mail covers by month to ensure no overlap based on final PDF's sent to print. Perform other job related functions as assigned. Requirements EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field of study or any equivalent combination of relevant background, skills and experience. EXPERIENCE Minimum 4 years' experience in Project Management, Traffic or Marketing. Advertising agency experience preferred in a TrafficProject Management Role. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS bull Thorough understanding of the studiographic arts process including basic knowledge of creative programs, copy and design functions, and file setup for production needs. Demonstrated working knowledge of marketing project planning and processes within corporate environment for daily functions. bull Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent organizational, planning, project, time and budget management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously, within established deadlines and budget. bull Verbal and written communication skills to provide clear and succinct information and to internal and external partners. Interpersonal communication skills to work effectively in a team and project-based environment. Problem-solving skills to offer sound, efficient and effective solutions. bull Ability to effectively use diplomacy in conflict resolution and problem solving matters. bull Work well under pressure and maintain professionalism in a high-paced department. Proven ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously in an environment with changing business demands.
