Unit DescriptionSodexo is seeking a Resident Experience Manager
3 for Everglades College Kaiser located in West Palm Beach, FL.
The Resident Experience Manager (REM) is responsible for the
general management of a student housing community consisting of 300
to 600 residents. Under the supervision of a Director for Student
Living, the Resident Experience Manager will supervise and evaluate
undergraduate Student Living Staff. The REM will be responsible for
conflict mediation, student conduct and programming for assigned
buildings and share responsibility for campus-wide training,
selection, departmental committees and on-call coverage.

Serves to provide a physical environment, customer service climate,
and complement of student services and programs, which assist
residence students in achieving their academic goals and which
contribute to their social, psychological and physical well-being.
Develops, administers, promotes and evaluates the Residence Life
Program; administers student judicial processes; supervises and
guides a team of Community Ambassadors; and, serves as a liaison to
the greater college community on Residence Life. Responsible for
maintaining positive work relationships with campus and community
partners and represents the residence on several internal and
- Develop an annual Residence Life Plan that identifies education
themes and timelines, set direct monthly goals for the Community
Ambassadors, and which coordinates with campus partners.
- Liaise daily with GM or direct report, bringing forward any
student or Community Ambassador issues or concerns.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process for the Community
- Create annual plans for identifying, advertising, selecting,
and hiring new Community Ambassadors.
- Plan, schedule, and execute training opportunities for the
Community Ambassador team including: annual campus August
pre-service training week, monthly in-service training sessions;
other reactive training as necessary. The training will focus on
developing the Community Ambassadors' skills to deal with the
issues they will face in their position. Training will include one
dedicated week, prior to student move-in, and several additional
sessions per semester.
- Act as a resource for Community Ambassadors, front desk staff
members and all student residents as they deal with issues related
to residence and college life.
- Work collaboratively with campus and community partners while
participating on committees and working groups throughout the year.
Key campus partners include; Athletics, the Student Association,
Student Success Facilitators, Student Services, Health, Counselling
and Accessibility Services.
- Assist in creation of annual college budget by identifying and
costing residence life activities in collaboration with residence
life team and the GM.
- Responsible for all facets of the administration and promotion
of residence life.
- Responsible for student discipline, directing residence life
programming, and ultimately coordinating all the Residence Life
Coordinators and student-staff in the Residence.
