position is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and
strategic developments of our travel procurement team. This role
will have the ability to shape the future of air travel and how we
create a unique travel experience for our guests. The position
oversees a dedicated team of analysts and specialists that
specialize in travel analytics and the procurement of air travel.
Monitors changes in the airline industry and provides
recommendations to our brands. This position is an advisor to the
Vice President, Travel Services. The position requires the ability
to extract complex volumes of data from disparate systems, cleanse
the data, provide clear reporting, and analysis/recommendations on
how to deliver the best services for our customers and financial
results for the company.-- This position will also provide customer
support to internal departments on capital plans, vendor
expenditures, supplier analyses, and operational forecasting.
Responsibilities: Drives and oversees analysis of current travel
spend and optimizes spend across strategic travel providers,
creates and supports the sourcing processes (RFP, implementations)
Directs the implementation and execution of the air sourcing
strategy for corporate, crew and guest travel Establish and
maintain relationships with airline partners and focus on enhancing
the traveler experience, create joint marketing opportunities and
new innovative products Partner with internal departments to ensure
we are creating incremental value with our air programs to improve
our travelers experience Gathers feedback from other departments,
identifies trends and provides recommendations to management on how
to improve our service offering Direct the analysis of data, ensure
the integrity of the data and present findings to management on a
monthly basis, identifying opportunities for compliance improvement
and cost containment for air travel Research industry publications
to say abreast of changes with our partners and identifies risks
and opportunities in order to optimize our contracts Benchmark
against global peer companies directly and through trade
organizations - compiling best practices and recommending ongoing
changes to improve our products Provide project management and
continuous training support to headquarters and international
offices on airline sourcing initiatives and how will impact the
local offices Manage a (U.S. + International) team of data analysts
and project management Provides ongoing support in airline fare
filing implementations and ensuring we optimize the use of our
negotiated agreements Collaborates with IT in ensuring our new
agreements can be supported with our inhouse technology Performs
other duties as required.-- This job description in no way states

management. FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the airline
relationships that produce air revenues in excess of $350M.-- Job
Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree Required (MBA
preferred) in hospitality management, marketing, business, finance
or related field. 8-10 years experience in travel industry, in a
highly structured analytical role with emphasis on airline contract
negotiations in the cruise air industry, corporate travel, airline
or tour operator air department. Revenue Management background
highly desired. Ability to present to all levels within the
organization-- Demonstrated ability to lead a team that achieves
superior results KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Requires excellent oral,
written, and presentation communication skills---- Intermediate
knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to analyze data with minimal supervision Experience in
airline contracts and sourcing methodologies Strong knowledge of
Guest Travel Services products.-- Knowledge of GDS systems.--
