National Strategic Business Manager - East Coast

Overview POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for developing and guiding the implementation of the Strategic Accounts and MSO/National account specific business plans; achieving market share growth, account profitability and serving as a key contact for this business segment Nationally. The selling process includes developing new business in defined Strategic and MSO/National accounts, as well as growing the existing customer base. It also includes determining customer needs, developing account specific strategies, creating customer commitment to change, and implementing a conversion plan (training and start up) upon close. Responsibilities Essential Functions: Sales Growth and New Business:Develops and leads sales strategy for MSOs, and strategic account segmentsTargets, solicits and secures new business.Facilitates lead generation and process through CRM and applicable sales teams.Partner with traditional sales, operations, finance and supply chain to ensure sales and delivery metrics are achieved.Tracks and reports industry market trends and sales intelligence to VP of Sales Strategic, including specific action items designed to gain market share and increase sales growth.Leads the negotiations of terms and conditions relative to customer investments while collaborating with all responsible parties, assessing the business impact to include overall profitability and impact on sales and margins.Tracks the status of existing accounts, generates a monthly progress report to VP of Sales Strategic, and develops action plans to address issues. Customer and Vendor Management:Ensures that negotiated SLA/SLE is in line with margin and profitability metrics as well as successfully implemented with Traditional Sales Team.Builds positive, long-lasting customer relationships by ensuring the exceptional delivery of FinishMaster's value added, consultative services. Demonstrate sales expertise and demonstrated results.Directs, manages and enhances relationships/programs between FinishMaster and our vendors, enabling and strengthening partnerships with our vendors. Manages sales process across job functions within the team to maximize efficiencies and provide exceptional customer service.Maintains high energy and dynamic partnerships with all key vendor partners within FinishMaster, including but not limited to production of Go To Market plans, retention, and deal structure intelligence. Identifies and mitigates any surface issues related to execution and overall account managementConducts clear and concise presentations for executive leadership, key stakeholders, vendor partners and customers Other Functions: Drive deep understanding of the MSO and Strategic account business and competitive landscape, taking an objective view of what it takes to win and deliver through the team. Is actively involved in the preparation of annual sales budgets and customer forecasts for MSO and Strategic accounts. Coordinates regular business performance meetings with customers Can conduct high level of negotiation skills This list may not be inclusive of the total scope of job functions to be performed. Preferred Requirements- Bachelor's degree Experience: Mandatory Requirements- 5-10 years of prior experience in the collision/PBE field at a Regional or National level Demonstrated skills in achieving sales, profitability, and budget Proven ability to build strong business relationships with Documented ability and experience to lead wide-scale sales organizational initiatives and change Experience in both a direct and distribution sales environment, preferably in the collision/PBE field Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics Strong project management skills People leadership, providing an engaging environment where you can work successfully and achieve positive results within internal departments.
