The - Regional Account Manager, Autoimmune is expected to develop and execute a territory sales plan, develop sales targets, close sales, coordinate sales efforts with strategic manufacturing and distribution partners, support the needs of the medical practice clients and participate in company sales planning, meetings, and reporting as it relates to specialty medications and therapy management. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving results, building relationships, customer focus, and promoting all sales and marketing programs. Job will require occasional evening and weekend event attendance.

This is a commission eligible position and covers Miami, Florida.

If you are located in Miami, Florida you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
Develop territory sales plan
Research and identify sales targets
Make cold calls
Use consultative sales process, probe for customer information and barriers
Manage questions, objections, and close sales
Coordinate call activity with inside sales representatives
Develop solutions to gain profitable business
Create relationships with manufacturers
Serve needs of medical practice accounts and resolve issues
Collaborate with Optum Specialty Pharmacy personnel to efficiently and effectively service customers
Uphold the highest ethical standards
Comply with all Optum and government policies and regulations
Maintain a database of customers through documentation of activity
Manage territory budget including T&E and customer related expenses

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of direct sales experience
Understanding of insurances (Medicare, Medicaid, Private)
Ability to travel 50%
Ability to do overnights (if necessary)

Preferred Qualifications:
Self-motivated to exceed expectations
Ability to multitask and work within a team environment
Excellent communicator and presentation skills/ability to teach
Willingness to learn and grow professionally
Proficient Spanish Speaking
Medical background (nurse, pharmacist, etc.)
Experience in medical devices
Experience in Dermatology and Rheumatology
Location in Southeast Florida
