Role Overview

Frida is looking for a Business Strategy & Market Insights Manager to join our strategy team based in Miami, FL. Reporting to the Director of Business Strategy & Performance, the Business Strategy & Market Insights Manager will guide the evaluation, prioritization and implementation of growth initiatives and product development roadmap. The right person will bring expertise in analyzing data, extracting insights from the data, and developing a strategic roadmap for market, channel, and portfolio expansion. The selected candidate will have experience building business models and uncovering insights to build & implement strategies to drive growth & optimization. The Business Strategy & Market Insights Manager will work with teams throughout the company to evaluate, prioritize and implement growth initiatives for the company's growth.

Core Responsibilities
Maintain a scorecard on consumer, macrotrend, distribution, category and competitive insights and data to guide the development of brand, market, channel + portfolio expansion strategies
Lead the cross-functional team in the prioritization of opportunities for the next gen of Frida products based on the size of the opportunity and ease of execution
Recommend optimal product pricing reflecting market research, competitive intelligence, and performance analytics for product launch across all channels
Collaborate cross-functionally to routinely evaluate the performance of products in market to refine expansion plans, pricing, and maximize market penetration
Conduct deep dive analysis into distribution and portfolio expansion opportunities
Develop competitive intelligence routine reports to inform leadership of industry trends, and competitive insights

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, or other related field
3-5 years of related experience in analytics or strategy; CPG, Management Consulting, or Investment Banking experience ideal
Strong project management experience and demonstrated ability to lead multiple cross-functional projects concurrently to completion
Demonstrated analytic chops, with the ability to design and interpret financial models to facilitate opportunity evaluation and priority setting
Professional presentation skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members throughout the company including senior leadership
Strength in problem solving and organization
Strong in all Microsoft Office solutions, especially Microsoft Excel, as well as visualization tools
Capable of prioritizing work according to business need and strategy
Self-starter who can prioritize, organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail and quality
A sense of urgency to quickly, decisively, and efficiently resolve business issues
Strategic thinker who brings fresh thinking and works well with ambiguity
Quick learner who is comfortable working with large data sets to solve unique and complex problems
Strong project manager who can take a concept from the ideation stage to resource planning and day-today management
Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau or other data visualization software preferred
Capable of prioritizing work according to business need and strategy
Superior analytic skills and financial modeling capabilities
Ability to connect disparate sets of data and synthesize insights from data into a comprehensive strategy
Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance
Capable of building strong and trusting cross-functional relationships
Excellent communication skills
