We're rapidly expanding and we need great people to join our team. ---The Program Director of Referrals Management reports to the Clinical Director of the Operations Center of Excellence and is a highly skilled individual who is adept at building relationships with and between various stakeholders in the organization. This individual must demonstrate expertise in strategic planning, leading change, possess strong communication skills, and exhibit a focus on the patient experience. The incumbent must bring exceptional organizational abilities and the ability to juggle multiple competing projects. In addition, the individual must understand that this role is part of a multidisciplinary team and will facilitate communication to maximize positive outcomes for all stakeholders.

  • Responsible for achieving organizational strategic initiatives related to referral management by developing systems to maintain the integrity of the referrals process, identifying system solutions, collaborating with partner organizations, managing network relationships, and providing the department the necessary operational resources.
  • Strategically develop the relationships, operational infrastructure, and best practices that allow the referrals department to serve ChenMed's patients efficiently to CPL providers.
  • Align referral goals with the organizational goals and initiatives and develop key performance indicators to ensure that referrals management is aligned with and accountable to the organization's initiatives. Proactively work with the Division/Regional/Network leadership to communicate performance and ensure total alignment on processes.
  • Act as an industry leader in referral management by researching industry best practices and developing relationships with industry leaders. Establish staffing models, productivity expectations, and processes to maximize referrals productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to operations on all processes and best practices within referrals. Coach and mentor Referral Managers.
  • Act as a liaison and organizational representative to leaders in other organizational COEs, leaders in partner healthcare organizations, and other key leaders and customers.     • Knowledge of ChenMed products, services, standards, policies and procedures
    • Strong organizational, influencing and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of company personnel
    • Written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to pay close attention to detail and to ensure accuracy of reports and data
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, database, and presentation software
    • Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and nationwide up to 5% of the time
    • Spoken and written fluency in English
    • This job requires use and exercise of independent judgmentEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:
      • Bachelor's degree in related field required. Master's degree preferred.
      • At least six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in health care to include demonstrated success in an administrative capacity.
      • Minimum of five (5) years prior management experience within a healthcare environment.
      • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and take impactful action.
      • Must have knowledge of referral processes, the referring provider market, and payor requirements.
