PROJECT MANAGER
Job Description
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH FIRE ALARMS and SPRINKLERS

Security System seeks for an experienced Fire Project Manager
responsible for planning, scheduling, organizing, and directing
field installation and
start-up of assigned projects. Ensures projects are effectively
executed within budgeted
cost and time schedules and ensure positive cash flow. In addition,
position is key
interface with the customer and responsible for maximizing customer
satisfaction,
safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects. Highest
level of Project Manager
has direct reports, high volume and/or critical accounts and
customers.
Principal Duties
--- Manages, oversees, and coordinates all aspects for all types of
projects,
including the largest and most complex projects, from award through
completion
of projects including overall site management of project(s) for
successful and
timely completion within budget as required by the contract.
--- Manages the execution and review of all scope of work and terms
and conditions
in customer contracts.
--- Read and interpret system designs, blueprints.
--- Reviews estimated prior to commence in the project/ field;
provision of technical
assistance to sales force as and when required; supervision of
installation
laborers and preparation of project schedules and it may include
collections on
projects.
--- Proactively communicates project requirements to project team
and when
required maintain accurate and up to date records of job status,
job changes,
material flow and other control records necessary.
--- Identifies potential project risks and develops/implements
strategies to minimize
impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project
deadlines.
--- Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies, services,
and manpower
forecasts.
--- May have direct reports and perform managerial responsibilities
such as
mentoring, coaching, performance appraisals and salary reviews of
the
installation team.
--- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or
required.
Qualifications
--- Minimum of 3 years of previous, field service or project
management experience.
Preferably in the Fire Alarm Field.
--- Experience in one or more of the following industries preferred
fire alarm & life
safety.
--- Minimum of 3 years of project supervisory experience
required.
--- Project Management certification preferred; industry-specific
certifications and/or
licenses required; must have valid driver's license with a clean
driving record as
well as FASA/ BASA.
--- Technical Skills and understanding of the fire alarm,
suppression, and security
systems.
--- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex
technical
information to inspectors, clients and/ or to management, including
contractors,
architects, and engineers with varying degrees of technical
knowledge.
--- Attention to details of all aspects of planning and executing
projects.
--- Knowledge NFPA72 code requirements.
--- Ability to manage scheduling and data review for multiple
projects
simultaneously.
--- Demonstrated ability to build successful partnerships and
collaborative teams
both internally and with other organizations.
--- Previous experience with winning teamwork, leadership, and
highly collaborative
environments.
--- Strong background with using software and tablet devices to
maximize site
observations and efficiency of tasks.
--- Ability to travel as required for projects being executed.
--- Eager to work with a progressive company that is motivated to
