Building this culture within our teams makes us better collaborators with each other and with our clients, driving better outcomes for all.Job Descriptiondentsu Media US is seeking a Senior Manager, Conversion Rate Optimization & UX to join the Performance Experience team in a temporary position, for a 12-week time period, approximately 35 hours per week.The Performance Experience team's core objective is to drive business results through data-driven and audience-centric site testing, optimization, and content strategy. As a senior manager, this role will function as a key member of the team by helping to lead CRO for dentsu Media clients.The Ideal Candidate

  • Is a CRO subject matter expert, passionate about human-centered digital marketing and experiences, and can drive business results through data-driven and audience-centric site testing and optimization
  • Is willing to "wear many hats," performing multiple functions including professional client communication and project management in addition to research, analysis and strategy.
  • Has deep experience conducting conversion audits, analyzing website usability and developing efficient test scenarios that lead to enhanced site performance
  • Thinks strategically about how digital can drive business objectives, short and long term. Able to 'connect the dots' and act as leader within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Has a curious drive to further the understanding of customers, how and why they buy, their purchase journey, pain points and motivations, and how they use products
  • Is an engaging and empathetic manager who "leads by doing" and fosters confidence, trust and respect with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ideally has successfully led CRO client engagements in a fast-paced, agency environment, and has built and maintained strong client relationships
  • Collaborates closely with our Analytics, Media, Development, and Creative teams. Primary Responsibilities
    • Develop data-driven conversion strategies and user experience strategies based on customer segmentation analysis and customer behavior
    • Relentlessly drive growth through creative thinking, compelling data-driven insights, test-and-learn methodology, and rapid execution
    • Collaborate with clients and internal teams, such as analytics, account, media, and creative, to optimize campaigns and ensure timely deliverables that meet client expectations
    • Develops data-driven roadmaps for websites and paid media landing pages that prioritize testing and optimization opportunities for client teams
    • Adhere to testing best practices and build test plans: objective, hypothesis, segmentation, KPIs, data benchmarks, variant designs and test set up
    • Test reporting: analyzes test performance across all applicable segments/dimensions, distill and deliver to the client with insights and recommended next steps
    • Is a confident communicator, able to lead meetings and build meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Strong multi-tasking skills and detail oriented; capable of tracking many simultaneous workstreams
    • Delivers clear insights from synthesizing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative data sets: site analytics, user testing, media campaign performance, first and 3rd party data, audience insights, etc.
    • Able to dig into the data and "see" how that translates into user behavior, preferences, gaps & opportunities
    • Designs, executes, and interprets the collection of consumer intelligence from a variety of primary research methods that may include surveys, user testing, or usability research, as well as site visualization and analytics tools Qualifications
      • 5-7 years of relevant work experience, ideally at least 4 years of experience with conversion analytics and testing tools, web development, UX and digital media
      • Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing and website conversion practices
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience in developing high-quality presentations using Microsoft PPT
      • Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative findings into strategic recommendations, and translate those recommendations into actionable digital experiences
      • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills and comfortable in a data-driven business environment
      • Ability to manage multiple projects and time-sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced team environment
      • Experience collaborating with multiple teams
      • Can clearly and persuasively communicate strategic recommendations to senior audiences, both internally and externally
      • Qualitative research: user testing, usability, competitive analysis
      • Site analytics: Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Hot Jar, Lucky Orange, Content Square
      • Working knowledge of best-in-class conversion testing platforms (Adobe Target, Google Optimize, Optimizely, Dynamic Yield, Monetate, Oracle Maxymiser)
