Job DescriptionOffice Manager At Nirvana Technology (nirvana.tech) we are building a global, digital bank from the ground up, designing a better, and more efficient way for people to use their money. Our mission is to help families prosper. Our success metric is customer satisfaction, and our goal is hypergrowth.Bill Harris, industry pioneer, and Nirvana founding CEO has run or started eleven financial technology and cybersecurity companies, including being the Founding CEO at Paypal and Personal Capital, Bill attributes much of his success to the talent he has been able to hire and retain. As Bill has been quoted, "The banks are not ready for FinTech". Bill has brought together a team of financial tech veterans aligned on the mission, metrics and goal, to move Nirvana forward.We're fully funded, and already testing the product with the upcoming beta launch. We are looking for a team leader to build and lead a small group of customer service representatives and grow over time as we launch and expand. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Help plan company events with the ability to be creative - coming up with new ideas to keep our team engaged and drive our cultureThrive in a growth mindset environment - using every opportunity to learn and growSource, manage and optimize external vendors including cleaning, maintenance and catering suppliersAct as main point of contact for employees regarding office needsGreet visitors and communicate with employees about guest and interviewee arrivalsSupport the executive team by managing day-to-day matters including but not limited to preparing and coordinating communications, complex calendar management and meeting logisticsOversee all office administrative and facilities-related functions. To include: expense reports, HQ office build out, and ad-hoc project managementOwn the process of booking company travelMaintain our company holiday and birthday calendarAssist People team with on-boarding, first-day orientation, and other duties as assignedAssist People team with the storage and management of documentsWork with members of the People team to develop office policies and procedures, and ensure they are effectively implemented and communicated across the organizationTrack office supply inventory and order supplies when neededOther duties as assignedTo be successful in this role, it would help if you have:A Bachelor's degree and/or minimum of 3 years of administrative or executive operations experience in a fast-paced, preferably startup environmentExemplary written and verbal communication skills, commensurate with interacting with a world-class leadership and advisory team.A proactive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities; excel at anticipating needs of the organizationThe ability to perform and prioritize in an ever-changing environment. Flexible to change course as priorities ariseExcellent follow-through. You don't let anything fall through the cracksMust be tech-savvy (knowledgeable of Google docs, Gmail, calendar, etc.)Experience with PowerPoint deck creationEvent Management experience - you know how to manage an event from start to finishYou love to be at the helm, organizing and setting up people for success
