Job DescriptionSalary Range$45,000.00- $60,000 annuallyBenefitsMedical, Vision, DentalJob DescriptionThe F&B Manager is responsible for reaching F&B objectives within the Hotel's operation. This position requires a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised using own initiative. The food & Beverage Manager is responsible for all managing the kitchen, bar, and club on the property. Functions include but are not limited to food purchasing, receiving preparation, and maintenance of quality standards, safety, sanitation, and cleanliness. The F&B Manager is also responsible for the training of employees' staffing, payroll, and scheduling. This position is responsible for budgeting and forecasting. tracking event costs and maximizing hotel food and beverage revenue.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervise the day-to-day functions and administration of the Food & Beverage Department to meet the daily needs of the operation.

  • Responsible for ordering food products according to predetermined product specifications and received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are received by the company policies and procedures.
  • Control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas, product storage procedures, standard recipes, and waste control procedures including checking and maintaining proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points.
  • Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
  • Identify customer needs and respond proactively to all their concerns
  • Coordinate and execute catering and events logistics
  • Report on management regarding food and beverage sales results and productivity
  • Participate in the formulation of the annual operating budget in determining projected revenues and expenses, and operating equipment requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate cleaning schedules for kitchen floors, mats, walls, hoods, other equipment, and food storage areas.
  • Maintain profitability of outlet to support overall hotel operation. Control payroll and equipment costs (minimizing loss and misuse). Ensure par stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory, ordering, and retrieving supplies, and stocking shelves by stooping, bending, lifting heavy articles, and reaching overhead. Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of all aspects of the operation. Develop and implement cost-saving and profit-enhancing measures.
  • Coordinate the development, interpretation, and implementation of hotel policies, operating procedures, training programs, manuals, directives, menus, work schedules, and rules and regulations for the food and beverage staff and personnel.
  • Clearly describes, assigns, and delegates responsibility and authority for the operation of the various food and beverage areas.
  • Manage schedules and adjust as needed due to business levels.
    • Work in conjunction with Department Managers
    • Prepare Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports as required
    • Coordinate with other departments within the hotel to ensure the distribution of pertinent information to all departments
    • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environmentSpecific responsibilities:

Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 60 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. The employee must be able to walk up to 2 hours straight.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position; the schedule may vary depending on business needs. Some holidays, weekends, and night shifts may be required.TravelTravel may be required. Required Education and Experience
                  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality- Preferred
                  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry required
                    • Must be able to speak, write, read and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace to communicate with guests, associates, and supervisors
