Associate Director, Brand StrategistCountry: United States of AmericaWHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGJob Description:The Associate Director, Brand Strategist develops and executes brand strategies and plans. Identifies and develops key insights into clients, the marketplace, competitors, macro tends and market opportunities. Analyzes trends and customer data to identify opportunities for growth, determines product requirements and defines targeted customer segments and associated messaging. Creates and/or coordinates the production and distribution of brand strategy materials and templates. Manages the US Brand and partners globally to ensure we are playing an active role in the ongoing evolution of the brand. Establishes, implements and ensures consistent brand standards throughout product lines, promotional materials and events.Essential Functions/Responsibility Statement:

  • Lead the development of overarching brand strategy and positioning framework, with clear value propositions that connect our business lines together in a meaningful way.
  • Collaborate with business lines and channels to understand their market needs and link brand positioning to maximize customer deepening and connection to overarching brand purpose.
  • Communicate brand strategy principles among stakeholders and ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing workstreams. -
  • Develop training, materials, templates and/or processes that represent brand management and brand strategy best practices for team and department. -
  • Provide the right data, insights & recommendations to inspire confidence and alignment among the executive team about the brand team's business impact, as well as where opportunities exist to scale.
  • Work with brand and product leaders to develop messaging hierarchies for key product launches and campaigns.
  • Author strategic creative briefs with relevant customer insights.
  • Partner Globally on the evolution of our brand look and feel, personality and tone and voice.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. (Req)- Master's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration or equivalent field. (Plus)Work Experience:- Marketing experience or related field. -8+ years- Financial Services/Banking Industry experience is a plus but not requiredSkills and Abilities:
    • Value proposition and messaging strategy development
    • Brand standards development & management
    • Fluent in audience/market research, analysis, and best practices
    • Fluent in Brand health metrics - monitoring, action planning, etc.
    • Ability to drive insights & business needs for brand level awareness and consideration marketing & advertising
    • Self-directed and able to autonomously lead and operate projects and execute independently
    • Experience proving out and scaling brand strategies at the enterprise level
    • Ability to influence in strategic discussions with marketing and business partners as well as senior executives
    • Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey objectives and guide teams to successful outcomes in written, presentation and spoken formats
