culture and are looking for a Vice President (VP), Social Strategy
with experience in the US Hispanic Market to bring their passion
for social media to one of our key Entertainment accounts targeting
Hispanic consumers in the US. Mainly a consultative role, the VP,
Social Strategy will guide our client to devise and implement an
enterprise-level Social Media vision focused on key business
objectives. The VP, Social Strategy partners with clients and
internal teams to develop brand-enhancing strategies, operational
and structural plans and performance-focused frameworks across all
social channels and stages of the consumer journey. The candidate
must be fully bilingual (English-Spanish) with a strong
track-record as a Social Media strategist working with US-based
brands (at an agency or client). Experience in the entertainment or
media industry a plus. This individual should demonstrate
experience working with other team leads, clients, and creatives to
develop solutions through market intelligence and simple,
meaningful Hispanic consumer insight. They should be comfortable
developing and presenting strategy to multiple client stakeholders.
They are passionate advocates for the consumer/end user throughout
the creative process and should have an appreciation for how social
media impacts the overall brand experience.They are the practice
expert, focused on unearthing and articulating cultural insights
and digital truths. They must be a passionate consumer of digital
and social media and infuse that knowledge into every aspect of the
planning process. With a background in advertising, digital
strategy, research, and/or account planning, this individual should
be adept at identifying cultural trends that brands can tap into.
They must have a demonstrated ability to develop, design, and
conduct primary and secondary research, insights immersions, and
stakeholder workshops.The VP, Social Strategy ensures precision
thinking and smart strategy is provided to internal and external
clients.Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Articulates insights gleaned from social and conversational
trends, artfully organizing information from observations and
implications to strategic recommendations
- Develop impactful strategy presentations and operational social
playbooks
- Design social media operational processes, team structures and
vendor/tool recommendations for optimizing business results
- Stay current on audiences, cultural trends, social media
behaviors, and platform best practices. Focus on US Hispanic
consumer a must.
- Work directly with clients, gaining their trust, and inspiring
them to take the right risks, while ensuring their professional
success
- Collaborate with cross functional project teams to motivate,
create, and implement short and long-term social strategies
- Proactively identify new opportunities for client growth, and
enforce processes and best practices across all engagementsBasic
Qualifications:
- At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in Communications
Marketing and/or related fields
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Fully bilingual English-Spanish.Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of the US Hispanic market and consumer.
- Expertise in balancing out all elements of a social strategy,
including paid/owned/earned media; creative, content, influencer
and more across platforms.
- Social operational expertise: editorial planning, production,
community management, social listening, performance measurement,
analytics, insights.
- Previous experience targeting US Hispanic consumers at an
agency or client-side role
- Previous experience in the entertainment or media industry
- Experience in a digital, social, integrated marketing/comms
agency or leading the function inside a client-side marketing
team
- Proven experience in delivering effective digital/social
campaigns for large, well known consumer brands
- Understanding of best practices across social channels,
including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter,
Snapchat, BeReal, YouTube and LinkedIn
- Knowledge of influencers is a plus
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- A passion for social media, from both a branding and cultural
perspective
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the
ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments, and deadlines in a
fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a
deadline-driven process

RANGE: $99,000 - $175,000An employee's pay position within the
salary range will be based on several factors including, but not
limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications,
experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance,
travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual
agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed
is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for
