JRD & Associates has an immediate opening for a -Project Manager -to join our diverse, team-oriented company that is customer focused and employee driven. The successful candidate will join our team of exceptionally dedicated professionals in an exciting and rewarding environment. This is a full-time position based in Miami, Florida or the Washington, DC area. -The Project Manager -will be an integral part of our organization supporting a federal government client. The role includes application of thought leadership and innovation to identify process, operational, financial, and organizational improvement opportunities. - The position reports directly to the CEO.Responsibilities:The Project Manager will manage project planning, organize and conduct detailed analytical studies supporting a federal government client in the financial assistance/grants management area.

• Develop Project Management Plans detailing project tasks, deliverables and milestones
• Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to analyze and identify inefficiencies and improvement areas
• Assess current state processes using various techniques (root cause analysis, cost-benefit analysis, value stream mapping, etc.), and advanced data analysis
• Conduct workforce and capacity planning assessments (identify and interview key stakeholders, develop forecasts based on historical data and client input, recommend future state alternatives, develop the implementation roadmap, etc.)
• Effectively engage with various stakeholders and clients through interviews, status meetings, workshops and focus groups
• Design, track, and improve key performance metrics
• Prepare high-level reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders that communicate complex analytical results and recommendations in a concise and easy-to-understand mannerRequired Skills and Experience:
  7+ years of experience in process improvement, performance measurement, workforce analysis, and/or strategic planning3 years of project management experienceBachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or related field Knowledge of methods for problem solving, process change, development, and implementation, strategic planning, and solutions implementationAbility to spearhead, guide, and monitor the development of contract deliverablesProficiency using Microsoft Office applications -and Google Suite, including advanced knowledge of ExcelPossess excellent verbal and written communication skillsEnthusiastic and creative individual committed to delivering results within strict time frameAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced work environmentMust be able to travel approximately 20% of the time to client sites across the US.Preferred Skills and Experience

  10+ years of experience in a client-facing roleProject Management Professional (PMP) CertificationFederal grants management experienceExperience overseeing the development of dashboardsU.S. citizenship is required with the ability to obtain a government clearance. Employee Benefits
