Job Description:
General Summary of Duties :
The Vice President of Food and Beverage reports to the Senior Vice
President & Managing Director and is a member of the company's
executive team. As the Vice President of Food and Beverage you will
have primary responsibility to provide the vision and imagination
while facilitating and implementing the business plan,
communication, administration and financial controls resulting in
the provision of exceptional food quality, service and experiences
at targeted profit levels.
Typical Physical/Mental Demands :
Requires mobility. Requires prolonged sitting. Eye/hand
coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to distinguish letters,
symbols, and colors. Ability to push and/or pull a file cabinet
weighing five to fifteen pounds. Travel may be required.
Typical Working Conditions :
Work is performed in an office environment. Ability to tolerate
varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and
air quality.
Examples of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following)
:
1. Maintain and instill in supervisors and staff a high concern for
effective control of food, beverage and labor costs
2. Be a role model for the company culture.
3. Establish operating policies and staff schedules for the
operation of all restaurants in order to achieve maximum service at
desired profit levels
4. Evaluate, Review and Analyze Food and Beverage performance at
property on a quarterly basis (or more often as requested) which
include staffing levels, external and internal customer
satisfaction, cost of sales, sales trend, contribution margin,
marketing, sales plan implementation, results, and compliance.
5. Evaluate interdepartmental relationships of Food and Beverage
operations providing analysis, insight, and recommendations for
improvement.
6. Evaluate and make recommendations regarding human resource
development within Food and Beverage operations to facilitate the
development of associates to meet current and future operating
needs.
7. Evaluate and develop with the Executive Committee customer
satisfaction procedures ad instruments for measurement and
documentation that will provide insight and assist in the
maintenance of the highest possible levels of service on a constant
basis
8. Perform other related duties as required.
