The Opportunity Delaware North Gaming is hiring a Director of Compliance to join our iGaming team: Gamewise, based in Miami, Florida. This position will oversee the Compliance organization - including licensing, AML, Payments & Risk & Fraud - and ensure that products, employees, management and company are in compliance with rules and regulations. Our ideal candidate is a personable, critical thinker with s ignificant knowledge of iGaming laws, regulations, and requirements. This position can be remote, with 20-25% travel. Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Salary: $108100 - $148700 / yearThe advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position.   • Ensure regulations are respected from a technical point of view for all operations (platform, sportbook, licenses)
  • Coordinate with the technical and legal teams
  • Create and manage internal controls and audit compliance
  • Ensure constant communication and collaboration between the regulatory bodies and the company
  • Maintain the compliance calendar related to audits and reporting and ensure that the regulatory body receives an answer within deadlines
  • Read and understand the constraints and needs of local laws, regulations, and industry standard linked to our operations
  • Interpret the requirements in order to translate them to business and technical tasks
  • Communicate in due time all regulatory changes or request to the relevant entities and assist on required operational and technical changes
  • Collaborate with the partners on the certification laboratory choice and scheduling, to ensure efficient certification of any new features
  • Create a process of marketing communications approval, and deliver timely approvals & feedback to marketing teams & external agencies involved
  • Review on-site content, such as House Rules, Terms, and Conditions, Privacy Policy
  • Train the team on key compliance issues Qualifications
    • 5-7 years of applicable federal compliance/AML experience (gaming industry experience required)
    • Managerial experience required
    • Significant knowledge of Casino Gaming laws, regulations, and requirements
    • Comfortable communicating with gaming regulators and federal/state authorities
    • Experience in reviewing, researching, and interpreting regulations
    • Critical thinking and decision-making skills
    • Strong writing skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
    • Understand the dynamics of competing business priorities
    • Attention to detail and an analytical mind
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
