Job Description:
Overview:Manages the day-to-day operations of the Training
Records department and provides oversight of projects and
initiatives. Determines priorities, delegates tasks, manages
employees, and monitors work productivity and processes.
Responsible for the overall audit of all crewmember training
forms/records to ensure Atlas and Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA) compliance. Oversees all crewmember qualification in the
Airline Information Management System (AIMS) computer
system.Responsibilities:
- Manages department workflows to ensure the quality and
effectiveness of procedures used in Training Records
- Interfaces and facilitates across departments to ensure crew
qualifications are current to perform assigned duties. Serves as a
subject matter expert (SME) responsible for critical operational
decisions as it pertains to Training Records.
- Ensures appropriate delegation of day-to-day office duties and
responsibilities for the Training Records department
- Supervises annual audits and conducts periodic audits of crew
training records (to include Check Airman and Instructor records)
to ensure all required documentation is in the appropriate training
folder and data is current and in compliance with Federal Aviation
Regulations (FARs) and Flight Operations Training Manual
(FOTM)
- Responsible for the audit and entry of dispatchers
forms/records in AIMS computer system as required by FARs
- Provides leadership and management of employees, including
scheduling, department coverage and work delegation, this includes
but is not limited to approving paid time off requests and
timesheet entries in time reporting system
- Coaches, mentors and develops Training Records team across all
levels, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing
career development planning and opportunities. Monitors performance
and takes action to correct any shortfalls
- Monitors and ensures compliance with required crew training or
upcoming events
- Implements and administers departmental Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs) to enforce consistency and best practices within
Training Records
- Partners with the Flight Ops and AIMS Administrator to enhance
system functionality of the training module within the crew
management software application in order to maintain compliance and
increase efficiencies for current and future projects
- Oversees departmental training of current and new employees to
ensure consistency in processes and department procedures
- Continuously monitors records and ensures flight crewmembers
are notified of any discrepancies or omissions in their training
file
- Oversees the notification of flight crewmembers documentation
expirations to ensure currency is maintained
- Audits the inputs of pilot training records/certificates and
pilot special airport training requirements in AIMS
- Collects and maintains all documents for permanent records and
tracking upon completion of training program
- Maintains knowledge of applicable FARs, crewmember contracts,
training manuals and Company policies and procedures.
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned by the Director
Training Center OperationsQualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive airline training records or
related experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with Federal Aviation
Regulations as they pertain to Crewmember Training Records and
regulations
- High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelor's degree
preferred.

- Holiday, evening and weekend shifts may be required

- Ability to prioritize and delegate multiple duties and
priorities on a daily basis; ability to function effectively under
deadlines and maintain accuracy; able to keep up in a fast-paced

- Proven self-starter and solution oriented
- Ability to Demonstrated leadership performance accomplishments
in a planning and/or administration capacity is a plus.

- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills; high level
