Job DescriptionThe Youth & Family Partnerships Manager serves as
the main point of contact for new and existing partners and must
ensure each brand is authentically represented through all efforts
- onboard activations, marketing initiatives, sub-department
collaborations, retail developments, interactive hardware features,
promotional content, and more. The mission of this manager is to
research, propose, and secure new child, teen and family
partnerships that align with the Carnival Cruise Line brand to
enhance the guest experience and entice new and repeat cruisers to
choose Carnival. The manager is also responsible for continuing to
reimagine current partnership offerings to keep repeat guests
engaged and entertained. The Youth & Family Partnerships Manager
oversees all creative development and new activations, as well as
ensures quality control of existing partnership offerings through
sailings and ship visits. This position requires an abundance of
creativity, an understanding of licensing agreements and contracts,
knowledge of intellectual property and branding, as well as a
passion for working with kids, teens, and families. - JOB
FUNCTIONS:
- Develop, refine, and continuously enhance the company's
existing partnerships -for children, teens, and families to keep
offerings fresh and exciting. This manager will be responsible for
researching and proposing new onboard activations, determining
rollout schedule, establishing programming guidelines, setting
activity cadence, creating training materials, building supply
lists, proposing giveaways, creating promotional content,
partnering with other departments (retail, food operations, photo,
etc.) and developing branding and logos as needed. Elements of each
partnership should be reimagined annually, at a minimum, to keep
experiences exciting for repeat guests.
- Research and propose new child, teen and family partnerships to
continue to solidify the company's presence as America's Family
Cruise Line. Seek out and attend licensing expos, networking
events, and entertainment and youth related trade shows to stay
updated about current youth, teen, and family interests. Set
meetings with potential new partners and create influential
marketing materials to highlight the benefits of partnering
together. Build an understanding of the current offerings, guest
expectations, and areas of opportunity to create a partnership
strategy that works well with current partners and maximizes the
company's exposure to families. Assist with negotiations and
licensing agreements. Create and develop all onboard activations
and programs, plan roll outs and ship installations, build brand
guidelines for shipboard and shoreside team, collaborate with
marketing team to establish announcement plan, social media
strategy and website content, partner with internal departments as
needed.
- Serve as main point of contact for all youth and family
partners; connect monthly and quarterly to share insights and
provide experience updates. Submit all requests and approvals
through proper channels for IP usage, new developments, onboard
events, retail creations, and more. Schedule, host, and coordinate
all details for annual partnership meetings.
- Ensure quality control of all new and established partnership
offerings through ship sailings, audits, and virtual meetings.
Serve as a resource to the onboard teams and share guidance and
feedback. Solicit and compile input from staff to continually
improve activities.
- Manage partnership financial and project budgets including
licensing payments, creative fees, consultants, hardware designs,
and supplies. Code and pay applicable invoices in timely manner and
according to contract obligations.
- Analyze data and guest feedback across fleet, sharing with
broader team as appropriate, and develop and implement action plans
to address common themes tied to partnership operations.
- Work closely with Fleet Youth Directors to manage promotions
and development plans for leaders; ensure ship scheduling and
promotions reflect performance. REQUIREMENTS:

- Complies with all policies and standards. QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: - Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree Preferred
Major: - Marketing, Communications, Business, or Hospitality
Management Experience: -
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience developing and managing partnerships, especially
youth or entertainment related collaborations.
- Experience working with and creating activations for children,
teens, and families.
- Marketing experience desirable. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- KSAs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (OneDrive, Outlook, Word,
PowerPoint and Excel)
- Create polished presentation materials
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects at any one time
- Manage demanding timelines and implementation schedules
- Possess strong communication skills and leadership
experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English,
with all levels of staff and management
- A sense of urgency and the ability to meet deadlines
- Creative thinker and solutions oriented, a self-starter and
high level of initiative
- Able to work independently
- Must be creative and possess an understanding of licensing
agreements, contracts, intellectual property, and branding #LI-TM1
#LI-Hybrid The range for this role's base salary is $80,000 -
$110,000. - Offers to select candidates will be made on a fair and
equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills
and experience. - At Carnival, your total rewards package is much
