• Acts as the lead architect across the enterprise for all internally developed and customer facing technology solutions.
  
• Work with Product Management and Engineering in the accurate capture of business and technology requirements.
  
• Work with and/or oversee other architects to ensure that the design of all software and infrastructure architecture required to deliver a technology solution meets the business's holistic needs.
  
• Creates, manages, and promotes the long-term architectural vision and business case for technology roadmaps across the organization
  
• Develops a unified architecture that is scalable across the organization and ensures the use of industry and enterprise technology standards and develops roadmap incorporating industry best practices
  
• Translates industry technology direction to business value and serves as a key technical advisor to project teams, providing new research and novel approaches
  
• Interfaces with the architects, product management, and engineering teams and other functional areas to ensure the most efficient solution is designed to meet business needs
  
• Analyzes systems and processes from end to end, partnering with IT, DevOps, and Security and business colleagues as appropriate
  
• Provides guidance and enterprise-wide influence leading to solutions that are well engineered, operable, maintainable, and delivered on schedule
  
  Experience & Skills:Required Experience and Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • 4-year degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
    
  • 15+ years' experience in software engineering and/or software architecture
    
  • 15+ years' experience in big data and analytics architecture and engineering
    
  • Mastery (proposal, business case, thesis) in Written/Verbal skills
    
  • Mastery of Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.) and Cloud Based Big Data Platforms (Snowflake)
    
  • Mastery of modern architecture patterns (microservices, containerization, Kubernetes, Kafka, Lambda vs Kappa, Rest APIs, etc.)
    
  • Mastery (code-level instrumentation) w/ Performance Profiling tools
    
  • Mastery with negotiation (key business drivers) skills
    
  • Mastery with public speaking (high production / highly competent audiences)
    
  • Mastery with business acumen interacting w/ executive core and participating in acquisition due diligence
    
  • Up to 10% travel
