This position is located at our office in OKC
BASIC PURPOSE : The Global Sourcing Manager will execute the Love's global sourcing initiatives for the merchandising department. This includes product development, process creation and implementation, overseas supplier relations, and internal collaboration. This GS manager will be responsible for driving gross profit dollars by executing private label programs and supporting merchandising initiatives.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Complete control of the product develop process
  
  
• 
  Product selection, package creation & supporting logistics
  
  
• 
  Develop product roadmaps
  
  
• 
  Negotiation with suppliers on the cost of goods
  
  
• 
  Build and maintain a network of suppliers for direct import programs/products
  
  
• 
  Execute global sourcing processes including but not limited to an RFQ/RFP bid process, workflow, and timeline processes for international and domestic sourcing
  
  
• 
  Work with internal teams to understand and refine the process of importing goods, maintaining them in our warehouses, and distributing them to over 800 locations
  
  
• 
  Support merchandising teams to implement private label programs to drive gross profit dollars in multiple categories and create brand strategies within the category
  
  
• 
  Help educate merchandising teams on categorical trends and cost analysis
  
  
• 
  Support inventory team on in stock, turns, and order forecasting
  
  
• 
  Work with 3rd party compliance companies to ensure quality standards and vendor accountability for all imported products
  
  
• 
  Overseas travel would be required
  
  
• 
  Handle other duties assigned as needed
  
  
  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    Education:

    HS Diploma or equivalent required
    
    
  • 
    Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field preferred
    
    
  • 
    Experience:
    
    
  • 
    3+ year of experience in product development, brand development, or global sourcing required
    
    
  • 
    Experience with the following categories is a plus: Automotive, Consumer Electronic Accessories & General Merchandise
    
    
  • 
    Experience as a buyer, in category management, in merchandising, etc. is a plus

      Hard Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, Power Point knowledge, and software including database applications
